i cant torrent sony vegas 8 on mac =[ and i bought iWork'08 cuz i heard microsoft word is bad on mac, let me know what u gottttttt

boy are you gonna be pissed when Apple releases a full touch screen quad-core MacBook Pro next month, and at a lowered price!!

Word for Mac is not bad.

I would recommend Final Cut Pro / Final Cut Studio, try to get Photoshop etc.. QuickTime Pro is also a good thing to have.

If your on a Mac, then Final Cut Pro or Express is defenitely the way to go if you are looking to edit video, Adobe After Effects and Photoshop would also be good to have, especially if you are getting into more serious video editting

if you want to run microsoft office then just run bootcamp.

When I got my mac, I initiially got microsoft office..word, excel, power point, etc.

THen i downloaded Handbrake for videos to ipod, I got mac the ripper so i can burn movies, and Toast Titanium 9 so i can but movies from MTR to dvd. I then torrented Final Cut Pro Studio 2 without content because I don't need all the programs. I downloaded Adobe After EFFECTS from adobes website and put in a key and it worked. Photoshop is more tricky. Good luck. Get Flip4mac...allows you to play .wmv files as .mov for online videos...umm yeah

I just got mine too, but I had an imac before that.

I use torrents a bunch so file converters are a must. iSquint. I like to steal music so get Audio HiJack pro. adobe ceative suite, flash suite, and a ton of neat widgets.
