i just got this today. its a Sunday Expert, needless to say, i cant fucking wait for summer. all thats left now, is for me to take of that way too stylish reflector from the wheel haha

 
Congratulations! DH is some fun shit, I have a Transition Dirtbag, but I have had many different kinds over the years. Whats your closest lift served riding?
 
i got riding at highland mtb park (2 hours away), attitash mountain (i ski ther ein the winter too, but its 3 hours away), then mt. snow (3 and a half away?). ill be in NH alot of the summer though, so from there, highland will be an hour, attitash is also an hour, then i have no clue for mount snow
 
iron horse is quality! nice bike

i just picked up a cove shocker myself.. so stoked! first ride tomorow
 
ive got a specialized big hit. that is absolutley beat to shit. its a sick bike though. my closest lift riding is big sky
 
Nice bike, I'm starting to like Ironhorse bikes as of recent. To DH on a proper bike on a proper trail is like nothing else. Where do you ride?
 
sundays are fucking legit, the only thing im not a huge fan of on them is the low bottom bracket, i do live on the shore though so lots of high techy rolls so thats probs why i dont like it so much, for bike park riding ie whistler its fucking bomber
 
ahh i almost baught that, but it was too expensive and the store (well, nobody in NE that i could find) could get one. i gotta see if i can get to diablo though, sounds fun there...

on a side note, my rear shock started leaking the day i got it afer like 15 minutes of LIGHT riding (no DH on my street, only a few small rock gardens and stuff up the street from my house). i called the shop, left a message and told em what happened. i went the next day, and waiting for me they had a brand new rear shock set up perfectly for my weight (they used a floor bike to set it up with somebody about my weight) and then just switched it out. no charge at all b/c its a warrenty issue, and they didnt charge for labor either. its sick!

i cant wait untill spring sports are over, then i can go DH all the time haha
 
Have you downhilled Attitash before? Me and my friends were thinking about doing it this summer. It's probably 3 hours from me. I have a Gary Fisher Tarpon. I don't have the cash for a full suspension bike haha.
 
Make a trip down to snowshoe, wy its defnitily worth the trip. I think its the best bike park on the east coast...

 
ya i have, it was a while ago and i was on my brothers really old FSR (more of an xc bike). that was about 6 years ago though. this ismy first DH bike so im starting to get into it alot this summer. before i would ride my brothers bike. i hear great things about Highland Bike Park as well, and its also in NH

that bike park up there looks SICK though
 
all stock. the bike came with everything you see. the only thing i may consider upgrading (not really sure) is the brake pads, because i hear that you get way more stopping power with better pads (these have shitty pads in them, but they feel ok right now)
 
Nice Bike....congrats. I gotta go pick up my RM Switch from the shop. Just dug it out of the garage and brought it in for a tune up. Hoping to make some Mammoth trips once my knee is healed.
 
I have heard good things about Highland Park. I think it used to be a ski hill called whaleback or something. I grew up in N.H. There used to be a bunch of guys that rode DH and worked at S&W sports in Concord. I'm sure a couple of them are still there. They are always looking for more people to ride so check them out if you want some chill folks to tear it up with.
 
Those look like juicys? If so, I didn't have much luck with the stock sintered pads. I kept glazing them over about halfway through and they would lose power and make these horrible screeching noises. I made the switch to organic pads last august and haven't had any problems at all with them. The feel is a little softer and less of an on/off feeling, but as a result they don't bite as hard. But this is on my trail bike, I have Codes with organic pads on the DH bike.
 
yesssssier.... also, head to East Burke VT to kingdom trails, peek around a bit and toalk to some locals... I'll shit is going down in the woods and fields up north.

but highland is really sick by far the sickest bike park in the North East and their is a huge rider community all over NH and new england just go up on pinkbike and there are made new englanders
