I don't have the commitment to catch all the pokemon. I usually get the new game, and beat all the gyms, elite 4 and whatever side game/afterstory there is.

oh of course, im just saying there ARE 493 pokemon now, catching all of them would be an incredible accomplishment.
i have beaten red blue and yellow all on a gameboy color, and caught all 151 by myself without gameshark, dont have the exact time it took me though

The combined force of myself and my brother legitimately had every single pokemon except tourus (sp?) form the blue, myabe red. i dont remember
then some cunt stoll my three gameboy colors, and 18 games out of my car.. and my mom wouldn't buy me more.... So pretty much I have already died once.. I would say it has similar side effects to a WOW account being deleted. although luckily i never got sucked into that vortex.
as for the time i have wasted on pokemon... at least a solid year worth of time is probable.
lol then 2 years ago i had the computer simulator thing on a flash drive... which we would play in tech class... ownage. it wasn't the same though.
