Afriski went like shit this round. Also on my 4th phone, 3rd pair of sunnies, laptop is done, broke my hand and some fingers, and plenty of other festivities but still alive.

Logging back into this shithole from Joburg. Hope y'all been well!
 
Glad to see and hear you're still moving air. I can only imagine the stories behind some of these "festivities".lol
 
feel like you get unlucky with wicked gnar injuries when youre abroad lol, saw some stuff on insta and its looked like an adventure. fall/winters rollin around here, safe travels back home!

Yeah sometimes shit happens I guess. At least I stayed decently healthy on the mountain through my teens and part of my 20s. I'll take it. And yeah appreciate it!

Yeah to some extent. Ended up quiting this time around so that's an end of a chapter. Other than work it was great. Working 7 days a week was total BS. But yeah, met some cool people got people into the spring vibes of pointing through slush bumps and getting surfy.

When I quit I hung out for 5 days, got to do all the things that made the place home. Partying with guests, they were buying me shots, dinner. I helped win bingo with some guests that wanted me on their team. Played music in the restaurants and some guest accommodation.

So I got what I wanted, seeing old friends, meeting new ones, shredding some laps, having some drinks and the closure I wanted to move on from that chapter of my life.

It def wasn't all good, but I made some turns and had some fun on the slopes!
 
I believe this is the only pic of me on the slopes from this season. 2 good friends from the old days came up for a week, didn't know they were coming and they didn't know I'd be there. Got to have a bit of a jol on the slopes, ski burning and the bar. Buddy was on the slope taking some pics so I decided to point at him lol. Nothing too fancy but hey, it's something.
