Just built my first rail...

i used sawhorse brackets and it seems very stable, although i havent hit it yet

i built it with him, its 10' long, 3" wide, 2' high, hope the sawhorse brackets work well

just finished mine now im water proofing it then im gonna put the pvc on

1 question though wats the bes way to secure the pvc to the wood?

i put screws infrom the bottom, o yea, i didnt waterproof it, oops

so what is the best way to attach the pvc to the wood?

put screw into the pvc, from the bottom of the 2x4, but not long enough to go thru the top side of the pvc, i used 2.5" screws

havn't hit it on skis yet but i was rocking it on my blades seems solid ill get pics soon

just get that laminant paint for wood, the out door one. its the one you use patios and portches. i got a thing for 8$ and still have like alot more then 3 quarters left after putting 3 coats on
