so im pretty pissed right now, i just thought it would be a good idea to try to rip some moguls switch, but i wrecked kinda bad and broke one of my mik d's about 4 inches up from the rise of the tail. does anyone have any experience with 9s warranty department? what should i expect?

you shouldn't expect to get your skis warrantied. You broke them, its not a manufacturing problem. It's like rapping your car around a tree then going to the dealership and trying to blame them.

not really, cuz riding a ski the way its supposed to, (moguls, park, turns, switch) it doesnt matter, it shouldnt just brake.

he said he wrecked hard....meaning he fell, his tail probably went into a mogul and the leverage from his weight snapped it, IMO its his fault

yea, i know, im not saying that its not his fault. i meant he probably had his din cranked way past where it should and why would anyone ski switch in moguls, thats just retarded.

Quote of the day "i just thought it would be a good idea to try to rip some moguls switch, but i wrecked kinda bad and broke one" = DUMMY

No shit retard, who hits moguls switch, or moguls anymore period....However, often I've masturbated to Johnny Mosely hitting moguls, he's so fucking rad.....

Good luck with Ninthward, even though they're killer on warranty, you better tell them a better story than that one, as that's a straight moronic thing to do.

I was in the exact same boat. I came down hard on some moguls and broke my ski almost in half right in front of the toepiece. I emailed them and talked to Campbell Mckeogh (sp?) and he warrantied them right up for me. He sent me a new pair and was super easy to deal with. Ill see if i can dig up his email address.

^ yeah I've talked to Campbell too, that guy is totally legit. I don't know if he'll warrantee your skis, but I'm sure he'll be able to help you out.

Mine was almost the exact same type of break and he said it was a warranty fix. They were being skied and not abused and broke. That is a warrantieable break IMHO (and Campbell's)

way to be a fucking dick bro, its not like he skied into a rock and broke them. yea, lets bring johnny mosely into this since you are already bashing people. not necessary

sounds like its something warranty should cover, because skis shouldnt break while skiing moguls, switch or not

thanks for the specific names of people to talk to, from what im hearing ninthward is way legit with warranties. and for the dude who said just get better skis, no joke the mik ds are the best park skis ive been on by far, thats compared to many different Lines, scratches, fujis and arvs.

also for people saying it was dumb to ski bumps switch....my mtn has a shitty park and when i get breaks from work i try to find some way to improve my skiing anywhere on the hill. skiing bumps seemed like a good way to get way better at switch. so thanks for your opinion, but i dont really care.

hey man, your ski is totally warrantable.

please email warranty@ninthward.com include a picture of the damage and new skis will be sent out to you, thats all you have to do.

ninth is awesome.

The edge of my firstblood started popping out so i sent them a couple pictures, and now new skis are headed for me. SO I get two pairs of skiable skis!

dont wanna be a downer in this thread and all but i emailed wally 4 weeks ago and within 3 days he responded and had me send out pictures of the damage on my butterlicious' (huge crack underfoot along the sidewall). I've waited nearly 3 weeks now and still no response. I wish ninthward was as legit as everyone is saying they are with me... I'm sure they are but just seems like with my instance the service has been rather slow and frankly disheartening.

ture but a good company should always stand by thier product no matter what....so i would say from the history of 9's stuff i would say this kid might not get a warrenty cuz ive herd more cons then pros about them..
