Couldn’t get the 170cm. It was between163cm and 177cm, now I’m laying here in bed wondering if I goofed up and picked a twin tip that was too short for me. I have around 5’8 and 165-170 lbs

Way short imo but if you got them for a deal I’d say ski them or sell them and buy a different one. Atleast you’ll have something to ski if you don’t sell them

Probably a bit too short. I was also 5'4 skiing 148's all last season so you should be fine. I would definitely look at getting bigger skis in the near future though

I could try and swap them for edollos at 172cm. The only reason why I was leaning for the arv 96s is cause I’m an all mtn skiier, I love rippin trees and all that. I just started park last year, I can slide bigger rails and 3, so I’m not really a park rat at all. Heartbroken I couldn’t get the arvs at 170 :’(

Those are gonna be absolutely tiny for you. The 172 EDollos will be a better all mountain ski based on length alone.

I made the same mistake, you’ll regret it eventually. I would definitely trade up if you could. But you might find it easier to learn rotations and shit starting out in the park with a shorter ski

Edollos are not a bad all mountain ski. Especially vs a way too short ski.

Def try to trade. 6cm shorter than you is something you’ll notice. You’ll be more nimble on rails and spins but you’ll lose stability on take off and landing

Hey guys, I really appreciate all y’all’s help, it’s actually my first time on new schoolers, so thanks for helping me out. So I called and I was able to switch out the arv 96 163 cm and I think I’m gonna get the edollo 172 cm. What bindings are suggested for the edollo?

Pivots or Henrik will be disappointed

Can't go wrong with either the Tyrolia Attack2 13s, Salomon STH2 13s, or Look Pivot 14s. All of those bindings would be good for what you're using the skis for. When getting the bindings I'd go for the 95mm or 100mm brakes depending on what the options there are for the brake sizes on the binding you choose since the edollos are 98mm waist I believe
