Just bought a nice digital camcorder but......

but i have all these sick skiing clips i wanna upload onto this site but the program that came with it is so messed up. i need help. i have a PC, and i don't know what the easiest editing program really is, i'm doing a 30 day trial of Adobe Premiere but i always connect the thing with the USB and i go to IMPORT and it asks me to open it out of some file while i'm trying to import it in the first place. my friend has i-movie2 and there's this huge button on the screen that says IMPORT, ya click it, it imports. why can't these god damn pc's be as easy??? help?!

ok dont use USB, its slower than imaginable, get a firewird card, then in premiere go to file, capture, movie capture.

ya bro don't import, go to capture. put the cam in vcr mode, play it, and press the record/capture thing in premiere

the manual sucks...i have the usb plugged in the cam and the comp and i go to capture and it asks me where i wanna capture from and all this crap....so when i go to VCR mode it doesn't recognize the camera, but when i'm in usb mode, it recognizes it, but i can't play it back cuz its not in vcr mode. i need i-movie. press import, it does.
