OK, a lot of people have been glossing over Powder with this whole demise of Freeze but has everyone reallly forgotten it? I'm not knocking Freeskier (which i feel is also a sick mag) but shit, Powder is still putting on Superparks. Their photography is (while ususally allllllll powder shots) awesome. The writing is by good writers and their not afraid to mix it up. I've only seen the first issue this year but that Morpheme section is awesome. Wow, skiing ficiton, what a concept! I dunno, but i've always heard there was a lot more professional behavior going down behind the scenes at Powder and i think it comes through in the product.

I love powder, i read every story sometimes the writers a little pussys like the guy who complained how hard snowobile skiing was (lucky son of a bitch) but yeah pics rule photo annual is awesome and they are usually good for a few laughs

powder is the best ever... freeze was a piece of trash meant for 14 year olds, i should have just bought it to wipe my ass with. Powder is the bees knees

powder is the best of the old mags...i like freeskier just as much but when compared to like ski magazine it is way more progressive

i always would pick up powder over freeze better Big mt photos
