just arrived in aspen

Last week I rode up in a van from Denver to Aspen with this guy straight out of Baghdad. Sketchiest ride of my life. It took us an hour to get from the airport to the city. Dipshit got lost.

Anyways, unless they have added a bunch of stuff in the past 3 days at Buttermilk, its not worth going to, but the pipe is pretty prime.

Just go to Snowmass. Terrain at Buttermilk is damn lame, and without much happening in the park, its really not worth going there.

Snowmass has the pipe open now, better jumps, more rails up, terrain is as sick as any other mountain there is, if you know how to find it. And if youve never done it before, make sure you hike the bowl at Highlands one day, fun stuff.

If it snows more and youre right in town, hit up Ajax too. Face of Bell is always fun, and if you know someone, ski Post Card, not marked and OB, but always seems to be untracked on it.

Have fun dude.

^good post. snowmass is where it's at. kind of unrelated, but if you come down to the metro area, stop by jibij in boulder.
