Just another longboard thread

Same question, possibly different criteria. I'm 155 lbs., and love to carve and slide. I'm unclear of the vague definition of "freeride" in longboarding, but I assume I probably do a good deal of it. I'm not a speed freak (< 35 mph), but want something stable. Choices-

Landyachtz seem the best- switch or dually for symmetrical freeride, does the drop deck profile mean I can't carve as well?

Dropcarve- for carving ma shiot (not so hot for skiding?)

9two5- new rockered board, my first choice right now

Loaded- Dervish, I expect everyone to recommend this one to me, but its pricy compared to the others and when I rode the softer version I thought it was fun, but not necesarily my best bet. Not completely sold

Rayne- hellcat, no idea if this board is anything like what I'm looking for, anyone ridden it?

Kracked Skulls- M1, I feel like this is too stiff/DH oriented

Never Summer- Heist, maybe too similare to a dervish

cb longboards- clueless, someone fill me in

I had a sector nine and like them but don't love them. Maybe the Burleigh for a cool bamboo board, and aren't the bullet, nine-star, and carbonite.

Any other brands I'm missing? Please support yourself if you do advocate the dervish

eh if you really want a board that can do everything you want it to do just get a dervish. obviously a dervish is not your best bet if your only going to bomb hills. i've ridden lots of different boards and my educated decision is really the dervish. everyone likes them for a reason /rant

I have the heist and I love it, it does everything you described. BBBUUUUTTTT I make boards and we can make a board simaler to the heist for a hella lot cheaper. Pm me if your interested!

I second the dervish. I'm about the same weight (160) and i got flex 1. Pretty stable at speeds, great flex for carving, and with some hard wheels this board pops out and slides like a dream.
