About a month ago I was able to get next years PE's which have been awsome. Ive probably put 20 days on them. But now i've got the opportunity to pick up another one of my favorite skis for next year. The Salomon Foil. Without enough cash to get both of them what should I do hold on to the PE's or sell them in order to get the foils now or in a month or so when the season is over.?????? Or sell a pair of S912ti's and my Motherships to just barely cover the cost of the foils???

 
You are the only one who knows your financial situation to make that decision. Sounds to me like someone is just bragging about his cool stuff.

I say pick whether you like the PEs or the foils more then figure it out from there. don't get rid of the MSs because then you'd have 2 skis that are pretty similar and no pow ski

get the PE's the 05/06's arnt as stiff as the 04/05's so they should be very nice and not as breakable as the last ones were

why does everyone knock salomon? oh yeah because everyone jumped on the 'i knock salomon to be cool' bandwagon. k2 isn't that great anymore. they moved to china. if you keep em make sur eyou have warranty because you'll probably need to replace them once within a season. talk to someone who knows skis not all these little kids on here

^^And not you either, apparently. K2's quality control has INCREASED in effectiveness after moving to china, not decreased, and they're running at a fraction of the cost. Just because it's asia doesn't mean it's bad. Amazingly enough, it's possible to make a decent product in ANY region on earth with the right equipment and personnel... or did you think the Chinese air contaminated the skis? Salomon sucks because the foam core is complete trash that isn't designed to hold up over time. They also ski like shit even new compared to others, imo... This is why we rag on them. They know we think their skis are total crap, but they won't improve them, because it'd cost money. Go ahead and give your money away to them if you want to... I won't, because I think they blow.

Keep the skis you have. Having pe's and moships is a good pair for everything the mountian has.

so i sold the mo ships for 100$ an i am prob gonna keep the PE's, now i am still thinking either the Foil's or a Sub for my car....

 
go for the sub. Why have PE's and Foils? They are both for the same conditions. That would be useless.
