Junior vs Adult

What are the differences as far as construction and durability for junior vs adult skis?

I know that adult skis are far more expensive, and longer obviously.

Adult skis tend to be way softer for their length, way more durable and due to most of them being sidewall construction, way less prone to edge blowouts and hold an edge on ice way better. They will be less likely to delam too.

Muxh more durable imo. How tall are you and how much do you weigh?

I'm 5 2 and 95 pounds so the only adult ski my size is the volkl ledge in 147 and 155

Yeah I would say just get a kids ski.

The ledge might be ok, my friend has a pair and they are pretty bendy.

I think that you will find a lot of adult skis to be stiff for your hight and weight.

You are probably about to hit your growth spurt, so I would get something closer to 160. You should be able to handle it if you are a decent skier.

Honestly you could go up to 160 with a small amount of rocker. You'll hit a growth spurt soon too so keep that in mind

I got junior skis when I was around that height and weight before a major growth spurt. The skis ended up being way too flexy for how heavy I ended up and would pop off with the slightest provocation. I had to get adult skis anyways, might as well get something around 160 that'll last you.
