For those of you guys in fraternities or just with a general knowledge of drink mixing, how do you make good jungle juice(the kind where girls can't or barely can taste the alcohol and somehow manage to get drunk after one cup)? My friend is throwing a party and all the girls dont want to drink from a keg so we were thinking of trying to make some of this so they won't bitch all night.

Jungle Juice recipe

This is probably the nearest towards the Jungle Juice recipe that's become a hit in America, not a cocktail by the same name, but a full-blown party occasion punch. If you hear people talking about Jungle Juice, this is it. Jungle Juice takes a lot of preparation but, obviously, is well worth the effort. It has become a party favorite throughout Missouri and New York, tweaked to perfection throughout the years. Jungle Juice is an incredibly potent drink, and this recipe will make up to 20 gallons. Use dry ice to keep it cold and stirred up.

Ingredients

Scale ingredients to servings

1 L Everclear® alcohol

5.25 L (3 1.75L bottles) vodka

1 bottle peach schnapps

1 pint Bacardi® 151 rum

1 bottle 99 Apples® apple schnapps

10 L Sprite® soda

1 L Sunny Delight® orange juice

1 L triple sec

1.75 L bottle gin

1 bottle DeKuyper® Sour Apple Pucker schnapps

4 bottles Boone's Farm® Strawberry Hill wine

8 L Hawaiian punch

2 containers orange juice concentrate

fruit (as much as desired)

Method

Use a large container ie. ice chest or similar. Allow the fruit to soak in all the alcohol for about 4 - 12 hours. Add all the juice and let sit overnight. Serve the next day.
 
yeah, i read that one already but we dont have a ton of money to spend so maybe something without 5 fifths of alcohol would be a little better.
 
basically you throw in as much alcohol as possible or that you can find and then dilute it down with fruit punch mix until it tastes good. Get it to the point that its still real strong but you can hardly taste the alcohol, easiest with more everclear than anything else even though that shit is pretty expensive
 
we are throwin halloween party sat night, and we are going to make those tomorrow night, those are awesome, i get fucked up after like 2 cups with all those alochol even tho i cant taste shit

it makes for a fun night.

oh ya, and try to split the cost if you can, that will help a lot, its worth it, get a cooler and fill it up in there, we make up to like 3/4 of the cooler
 
just pour everclear or vodka into it and get kool aid. you dont need to make it incredibly fancy with 5 different bottles of booze, its almost pointless. oh yeah, get cheap vodka, not like you can taste the quality anyway.
 
heres how i did it

get a big bucket

2 2litres of sprite

2 giant bottles of hiawian punch

a gallon of popov

3 things of rainbow sherbert

lots of icecubes

add orange juice if you want to

Montana booze is easy to get! Everclear is like what we drink 80% of the time, our keggers are like two PBR kegs, and a big Igloo cooler full of jungle juice.
 
favorite party drink has to be Hurricaines. you just get rum and a powder mix for it and you cant taste any of the alchohol, but it gets you so ripped
 
the real college recipe:

1 liter of grain

1 liter of cheap vodka

1 liter of cheap rum (clear, not spiced)

2 gallons hawaiin punch

2 cans of pineapple juice

some lime juice

ice.

mix it all up in a 5 gallon cooler

it'll cost you about $40.
 
can you find that stuff at most liquor stores and if not would it be cool to just subsistute an extra bottle of vodka?
 
yeah, that is a bummer, but I have a radar detector, and my car is pretty fast. we just run from the police around here.
 
you can get it at any liquor store around me, but i guess it's illegal in some states. not sure which ones though. you can substitute vodka, but the taste won't be as fruity. the point of grain in jungle juice is that grain has no flavor, but it is extremely potent. it will actually burn a hole through a plastic cup if it's not mixed with anything.
 
adding sugar kills alot of the alcohol taste. use powdered fruit punch mix and add like 4 times the recommended amount of sugar then taste it to see if you need more flavoring or more sugar. once you make it a few times you'll get the hang of it. the liquor posted above is goods.
 
adding suger = vomiting. bad idea. sugar does not react well with alcohol in your stomache, so you want to use as little as possible to maintain a decent flavor.
 
thanks for all the advice man. It sucks though cause i'm pretty sure pure grain alcohol is illegal in california. Guess we'll just have to use extra vodka or something.
 
shit, grain was already mentioned.. it's ethanol. (ethyl alcohol)

chem department will have this.

it's the active ingredient in any alcoholic drink.
 
Jungle Juice is leathel... OMG. Takes like one cup and well on my way to being trashed... Tastes like candy.
