Jumps at Lake Louise?!?!?!

Recently, Murray Edwards sold his half share of RCR's Lake Louise to former owner Charlie Locke (deal is still pending). As of this year, the area is known as "Lake Louise Ski Area limited" and signs will read "affiliated with RCR" until next year, when the area becomes a standalone resort, and drops the RCR affiliation completely.

Hopefully this means some freedom from the corporate organization, and Mr. Locke will realize that the number one selling style of ski needs a real place to play...and do something about it.

I'd like to hear what this community thinks about it (especially the ones in/around the Lake).

well i would be stoked if they brought there jumps back

i dont actually ski there but it would be awesome to see.

That would be fuckin excellent! I am in Banff for abit every year, and yeah there was something lacking with my time spent at Lake Louise last year. Sunshine is pretty dope, but it's nice to be able to switch it up every once in awhile.

Hopefully they DO bring them back! Keep us updated

I thinks its great if he can get louise out of rcr cause clearly they're fucked thinking taking jumps away is a "industry leading initiative" and last time i checked metal hurts more then snow. Any step to get out of rcr right now is a step in the right direction imo
