Jumps at keystone?

too early to tell, its all dependent on the snowfall. last season they opened with 1 jump which was a big hit, so i'm guessing there going to push for a jump this year again

that 30foot jump was in the second park, the first park had two TINY tables, i wouldnt really call them jumps.

ya thats what i was going to say. they had those two tables and then a big spine type thing. they were fun but after a few hits they got old. but hey its skiing

Highly unlikely. Keystone did have a jump after a few weeks last year though, definitely not opening day though. They had two 4 foot tall piles of snow that people called jumps though. Their park is always fun early season.

Opening park will be on Frenchman... under the gondola. Second place it was last year. Apparently Breck is opening with Freeway. Heard that from a friend today.

are you really saying that the possibility of 24 inches falling more than 2 weeks away from breck opening day is going to determine whether or not they have jumps?

for reals though i heard the same thing only it was gonna be on park lane.

That's where they opened with it a few years ago and it was way better because they didn't have to move it later. It was a legit park from day one. Opening with Freeway....? How? You need a 50 foot high pile of snow to make one jump in Freeway. That would be so amazing, but I can't believe it.

i heard brecks opening with park lane not freeway... thats stupid whoever told u thatkeystones preseason park is always the best.. dont even try and argue

Yea. Park lane is a believable rumor. Freeway? Haha not likely. Thats probably not gonna be open till after Dew tour like last year.

^I would hope the same, if not more, since they are opening a week later (on the 12th). First triple line in park lane along with various rails/boxes is what I've heard.........*what I have heard*. I don't work there anymore, but I'll be shreddin it the 14th and I'll toss up pics/info here.

anybody heard whether or not this is reliable yet? im getting my pass from HR on wednesday morning so im trying to head to key or a-bay and take laps allllll day every day until patrol training in vail starts
ALSO, will key be doing night skiing right from the start or will that have to wait until later this month? im really trying to get as much time in on skis as possible in the next week

night ski doesnt start until december or january. and of course its reliable... i dont lie haha.

they already made a press release anyway.

ok yeah i just checked it and i was going to correct myself but the internet went out cause we're still stealing it from next door for a little while longer...
it says night starts on the 25th...im guessing there's no way they'll push that up...oh well.
see yall at stone on thursday morning bright and early! funk yes

i got a mouse and these things that type, fuck it...

not trying to be a debby downer or anything, but preseason jumps aren't worth hitting. last year keystones jump was fun but there were way too many people hitting it. the landing was pretty much ice not snow. my friend ended up blowing his shoulder up on that jump and he couldn't park ski for the rest of the season so beware

what?! youre wrong, last years jump was sweet, and yeah its gonna get beat up, just dont try tricks out of your league

Well if you are capable, that jump last year was a blast. Dumont did a double off of it, and plenty of people were throwing some good looking rodeos and such.
