Jumping onto rails from the side.

Am i the only person that doesnt like rails that you have to hop onto from the side? its mainly snowboarders at snowpark so it seems like the rails are set up with snowboarders in mind more than skiers.

a good rail should be set up so you have the option to hit it straight on, or from each side.

it should be able to be hit three ways. straight, left and right. i kinda prefer straight but when i feel weird i ht from the right and try to balance out

 
i'm more scared to hit rails that are straight on because of the fear of hitting my tips not that it ever happens but it's always in the back of my mind.... i prefer getting on from the side

I actually really like rails with the jump onto the side...you get alot of options with like lipslides and shit.

i love street stlye rails, is way more fun and way more difficult, only rails i dont wanna jump on from the side are flat, if its a down rail or dfd jumping from the side is a must

i find its a lot easier to get a lower stance on the rail, and 270 or 450 out if i have to step onto the rail

I like these rails, it's like an imitation of urbans...Pretty funny and more difficult, no match with snowboarders preference, it's cool to ski too dude!

 
if you cant spin onto a rail from the side......... you prolly can't spin onto a rail, its perfest you just carve in alittle brahp a 2sev and you lock right on but whatever a rails a rail

 
lipslides and streetstyle rails are soooo much more fun and then spinning backside 270 feels so much sicker

depends on what kinda rail your hitting... if its a handrail then ffo shure theres no other way, most parkrails should be straigh over inless itsa down rail or an urban style rail

^yeh thats what i think. Half the box's are set up like that which is stupid. Rails and downkinks jump on is sweet but not box's
