Jump park ski

Looking for a new set of skis as I've trashed my Moment Reno Jibs and I'm going for my first full season this winter,

Been looking at Armada, my main type of riding is jumping in the park rather than jibbing and then just shredding the piste, I'm thinking AR7's? Durability is hugely important as I dont want to tear my news skis apart within a week!

Done loads of searching, seems to be one of the only ones I can find without negative feedback!

Volkl bridges... Their new rocker is sweet, they're symmetrical, and you can take them almost anywhere (they 'bridge' the gap hehe). They are also pretty light, not as light as say punx though.

Thanks for the advise, just checking out the bridges now,

Can the AR7s be centre mounted? Ive read that the Halo doesnt work too well centred just wondering if its the same with this?

You can center mount it, yeah. A lot of people put it an inch off because the ski can go all mountain because of its size, but the Bridge can do that too. The ar50 sidewall makes the ski lighter from the ar6, so it spins faster - but the Bridge is still lighter. Basically, the ar7 is a $600 version of the bridge...the bridge is a little wider too, because it caters to park skiers who want to go on or off piste. You make the choice :D

If you want a ski just for the park don't get the bridges. Also they are much heavier than the ar7's. The volkl wall is good at jumps and is probably going to be as good if not better than any other ski for what you want. If you liked the reno jibs stiffness for jumps i wouldn't go with armada, unless you want a softer ski.

The bridge isn't heavy at all this year...they reworked it and put in rocker and it's lighter and better for jumps this year.

Have you even held both skis? The ar7 is one of the lightest skis out there, i think it's close to the liberty LTE. The 2011 wall is lighter then the 2011 bridge and is still heavier than the ar7.

I have not held the bridges but I guess I was misled by a friend...the bridges are not exactly heavy though. And yes they have rocker this year

Not going for the moments again as they have fall to pieces! Great jib ski but the 171 is a little unstable for big air for me so I want something different.

Thanks for the advise, sorry for the ignorant question but what is the reason that the halo struggles with a centre mounting? Are the skis not symmetrical?
