Jump landings

i was at boulder today

prettty nice for all the rain but a little icy

the only problem is the landings on the jumps

when hitting the 1st and 3rd jumps, you can land right in the sweet spot, and it feels like you overshot.

the landings arent steep enough to throw big tricks

but the take offs and rails are nice

just thought id see if we can get some groom on them landings

Word Seany.

I haven't had a chance to talk to anyone yet. But I was really hoping that they would blow for one last time to build everything back up for end of the season on Boulder trail. Someone told me today that they thought they were done for the season. I hope not, I hope they are going full blast right now.

Nips had a good idea. He suggested that they use the snow from the second jump to rebuild both the first and last jump. I would like to see the hybrid step-ups come back, seems like there is still enough snow to rebuild.

Everyone else is blowing during this cold snap, Boulder doesn't have to, but it sure would be nice if they did.

BTW - Sean we got to do our part to let everyone know that BB will be open as long as there are ticket sales.

yes totally agree that the jumps would be nicer with steeper landing and i think it would be a real good idea to use the snow from the 2nd table to redo the 1st and 3rd....boulder is soo legit i like it uhhh lot

No worries...lots of changes for spring. The weather has not been cooperating as of late, but we are just barely into March. Lots of shredding left to do this season. There will not be anymore snowmaking though.

why wont there be snowmaking any more? yo and its supposed to rain all this week at boulder too. fuck..,,

couldnt agree more w/ sean on this one. the lips are super nice, but the landings could definitely be a little steeper/ longer. i know it's april and there's prob not much to do about it now, but they're definitely a little flat. also if they widened the lip on the 45 foot d/f/d in the plaza that thing would be prime. the right side lip was way too narrow to spin on.

i definetly agree. i didnt get around to the 3rd jump on sunday but when i hit the second jump i was landing right we're i wanted to pretty much every time but it was always a hard landing. i guess there is too little snow to make the landing steeper and longer though.
