make a 8foot tall pile of snow about 5 ft wide pack it to desiered lip/transition cut the sides and pack with skis(side step) use froms for perfact jumps(like planks of plywook) on the sides and put snow in between 3 and then sidestep and carve

wetter snow works better if you want it to set fast because it obviously packs better. and always make sure to check for or to build a landing. i forgot that once. seriously. it sucked ass landing.

they say i got stupid when i hit my head

make a little wall of skis or SBs and pack tons pf snow against it, put salt on it if it isnt good packing snow. just keep packing and forming and make it nice andwide. make sure it has enough kick but fill in the tranny so its a smooth jump

this is the trick me n my bro used when we were in austria buildin a backcountry jump: find a nice spot with alot of snow, roll some huuuuuge mother fuckin boulders (like the ones u use on a snowman), put them all in the same place get a big mother of a pile, and when u get enough put ure skis on and just crush em up so uve got a really dense pile of snow... shape it and make ure inrun and it will b a sick jump

Get like 2 xfactor ramps and secure em into the snow. Then start piling snow on top of them. Get at least of foot of sno ontop and then go over it with skis and pack it down.

My bro and I, in our backyard, get hay bails in the beginning of the season. They're a lot easier to move around than snow. Just pile the snow on top and your set.

You must be the stupidest piece of shit out there. How much goddamn COMMON SENSE does it take to make a jump. You ride off them probably 100+ times a year, and you ask how to make one. Look at how its shaped and fucking just figure it out. I can't believe you actually had to ASK how to make a jump. You fucking pile up snow and start sculpting.

If you want to build a solid jump get like 4 of your friends and just start piling snow on the jump site. Then sculpt it with your skis and then add more snow. And keep doing that till you have something you feel good about hitting.

Peace

jibtastic dont be a little bitch cuz there are different ways to build a jump. some methods work better than others and i just wanted to see what some of the ppl on here used

if ur a local at a small mountain and ur pretty good...ask the guys who run the grooming at night...if there is enough snow they might just be nice enough to set aside a bit of snow in a certain area....or you can pay them

jibtastic, stop being a bitch in every thread
