Day one of the Finals, who saw it, it was the craziest thing ever. Probably a good one hundred and twenty foot drop. Sick sick sick
 
that wasnt smokestack was it? I thought smokestack was the 50-60 footer down below it. Either way someone needs to post that video, it made my pp tingle
 
It wasn't smokestack. The smokestack cliffs were the ones the frenchies were dropping all over the place. Julians huck was the 100+ footer above them. It was soooo sick.
 
Im sure he'll win the sickbird regardless, that sucks he lost a ski though, but it's cool that's all that happened to him
 
Nope, 140-ft. huck won't win you the sickbird (probably because it wasn't in the finals). They awarded two sickbirds (one female and one male): Stacy Cash of Alta took the honors for the ladies and Christian Boucher of Whistler took the honors for the men.

AND PROPS TO MY BOY NICK GREENER FOR KILLIN IT AND WINNING!!!!!

Also props to Jack Nelson. first ever big mountain comp and he made it to the super finals qualifing in 5th, unfortunatly went in a bit hot in to the last double and lost a shoe.
 
Greener took first? thats sick, He is a lot prettier skier than I had previously thought, his turns were fluid and he looked comfortable out there. The judges definetly hooked him up though, anytime someone mentioned his name they would go off about "LITTLE BUDDY RULLLZZZ DOOOODD" I hear the IFSA is a lot of politics and who you know once it gets into the final rounds
 
no his bros aren't judges, rick skied in the comp, and rob is just chillin still recovering after his gnarly break last year.

I think that nick deserved to win. regardless of the politics. and the only reason they were hypin him is cause they expect a lot from him. that family is a big name in the big mountain scene.
