He's a stuntman for Transformers 3 and they're doing some craaaazy wingsuiting in Chicago... check this at about 27 sec. in....
 
epic stunt but there are already too many transformers movies, they're all the same: huge ass explosion, huge ass robot, huge ass, huge ass explosion, repeat.
 
it was good the first two times, but this is no lord of the rings-caliber saga, let it go hollywood!

Being a film major though i'm just trying to guess wtf they are doing this stunt for, exactly...

I can imagine that seeing as they are going in groups, it might be to gather stock sample footage to replace with some super sick transformer nosedive battle from the roof of the tower where they fly over and through inbetween buildings and shit.

gopros + ping pong balls + computers + michael bay explosions + megan fox = win?
 
Don't you think the Spider-Man approach that Raimi had with swing cable cameras was much safer than throwing live people off a tower just to get stock footage? Hopefully that wasn't the only reason.

Then again, all those guys love the adrenaline and probably have wanted to jump off that thing: now they did it legally and got paid handsomely, I'd guess.
