Jskis vs on3p

Hey guys,

so ive brought it down to either a pair of jskis whipits for a pretty affordable price because i work at a hill so i get another 20% off. Or biting the bullet and getting some on3p kartel 98's. My question is, whats the durability of the jskis whipits like for someone just getting into skiing rails/ what are they handling like on jumps and higher speeds. And is the cost of the on3p kartels being that much higher worth the durability difference?
 
The Newschoolers community really likes ON3p so a lot of people will tell you to get them. The Jskis are buttery and softer then the majority of ON3P so really its personal preference. If you like soft and butter skis, then go with the JSkis. They seem pretty solid too but once again, it's up to you.
 
Ive heard about the durability of Jskis being a little on the crappy side as well, having problems with edges and delam. ON3P's you can charge hard, I would much rather but a pair of ON3P's then Jskis if i had to choose
 
My Jskis lasted 2x as log as my ON3P but that was a freak accident, Jskis at speed and on big jumps are not desirable, but for rails they are beautiful.
 
Hey man I recently went through the same decision. I chose the on3p simply because I skied filthy's for 2 1/2 seasons 150+ days and loved them! However, the edges underfoot are gone. After much debate, I heard that J skis are poor quality and delam very easily. I went with the Magnus! If you're hitting big jumps, skiing fast, and want to shred hard get on3ps. If you want to doodle around in the park and learn skiing by reading Steve Stepps book Stepps to success in Skiing, get J skis. haha
 
I’ve got a pair of jskis allplays and i love the shit out of them. There much flexier than the whipits and super burrable. I’ve had them 2 years and there still in great shape. No siding cracks or anything.
