JP WALKER...this is how you welcome a new team member!

much respect for him as a snowboarder and what he does. but as a person he doesn't have have any respect for what we do and our sport

LOL at this entire thread.

Jp quit forum/special blend once they got bought out by Burton. It was being run by new people, and he wasn't down with it. He left on his own, it was his decision.

And 32 only makes boots.

I'm not sure if he has a board sponsor, but it really doesn't matter anyway. This guy has had a pro model everything for like 9 years now. Resistance anyone? That shit was sick. He has plenty of money, and will soon enough have a fat ass travel budget/salary, from whatever company he decides to go with, strictly becauase of his name and his reputation.

But BTW that edit was ok, but nothing too sick. It's all about lucas magoon. and jonah owen. and nick visconti. thats whats up.

sick

different subject, but someone posted that he was like the jon olsson of snowboarding.

I wonder if jon is gonna get an oakley promodel crowbar.

I was making a generalization.

Why do you think alot of these guys run summer camps? They need to pay the bills somehow.

Burton bought fourstar dis.(Forum, Foursquare, special blend) a while ago man, but yeah he's been off them for a while.

word man all the old school Mack Dawg films - The resistance, true life, stand and deliver, chulksmack, shakedown, game show....the list goes on - all dope as fuck.

JP Kills it

jp walker left forum in the spring. i dont know if he left special blend yet. four star canada was sold by four star distribution to burton three years ago or so. the only remaining members of the forum eight are joni malmi and peter line, but line runs that shit so i dont know if he counts. jp walker is the most influential rider in the past 10 years.

i can't stand on a sidewalk as smooth as that last shot with the 90 degree wall/wall flip deal. innovative yes, but ridiculously effortless also. best new random urban thing in at least a year. skiing = still behind. redic.

My favorite boarder is Shaun White!

Nah...

It's all about Nate Lind! Because nothing beats drunkenly having a slider eating contest at Joowanas and puking!

I'm a big fan of Nicolas Muller and Eric Jackson...they're both super chill and just have an attitude that embodies what skiing/snowboarding should be about.

Ok I'm just going to put out shit straight in chono so you understand. Forum was started back in 1996 when Peter Line and some of the guys from mackdawg wanted to make a rider ruled company and gathered the best boarders to start the team (Line, Walker, Leines, Walsh, Jones, Luoma(didn't endo up working out), and were to be called orginally meridian)(kind of like how armada started). Mackdawg and co. orginally owned special blend and were to own the two starting companies Forum and foursquare (originally clothing by Peter Line, but the logo with four squares stuck better). Then they were up in the air for a bit as four star distribution (see Video Gangs(see Whiskey Journals & Defective Films)). Burton drop it's mad cash to "save" these "core" companies (forum,4square, SB). After ten years of forum, last acutal rider is Joni Malmi (Peter Line basically does alot of realestate in Portland and get ask about suggestions alot by Forum and Electric because he owns the shit).

I made that whole post drunk as hell.
