I snagged a pair for super cheap never mounted, what do you guys think of the ski? any comments would be sick, also earlier i was reading something about people haveing problems w/ bindings ripping out, i knew one kid who did have his rip out and i've read that most were pivots, ne opinions?
 
They totally rock, the rip out sucks but your chances are good it won't happen. Mount the -1 or -2 from the line and measure from the tails the lines are off alot.

Also Lineskier you can suck my dogs balls you worthless piece of shit
 
they kick ass, i sold myne but only cause i ordered the 07 version, but i would mount em -1 or -2 from center, better for the pow
 
JP's own...mount them at +89 from the tail, because armada's mount points are off on some topsheets. i have pivots on mine and no probs. great ski.
 
I just bought a pair and was going to mount last years scratch 140s (turntable heel) on them. However, the tech at my shop has been talking around and of 8 pairs mounted with turntable heels (last years p12, p14, scratch 120, 140 etc) 5 have ripped out. The screw pattern is close together and because the JPs are so light they tend to rip out. Although FKS bindings still have the turnable heel they have a different screw pattern so its fine. But I'm kinda pissed. Now I have to find other bindings. I'm looking forward to getting on them, but I gotta find some 916s or use this years Rossi power 140s.
 
well you would reccomend some salomon race bindings then? would anything a little lower priced work?
 
any of this years rossis/looks, any year FKS/look race stock and all salomons will work. I'm getting 916s for mine now just cause I don't like regular salomon bindings.
 
They're not THAT bad for ripping out. If they were, mine would have. I'm huge and I've landed switch on them more than a couple times, including drops to pow, and haven't had any issues there. Just a whoooole lot of weirded camber.
 
FYI, the older (last year and before) p12, p14, 140, etc aren't really the turn-table heel. They have lateral pivot release, but the true turntable heels are only those on the fks and p18s, which can turn all the way around.

Also, the screw pattern on the P12, P14, etc is actually further apart than that of the p18 or fks 185.
 
I also love how so often, kids buy skis and then ask how the skis are. Even if someone says they are shitty, it's too late doode.

Mount them 2 back of the line and measure from the tail...that's all you need to know.

yea dude, i got them for 125 bux which is nearly 200 bux below cost on them, so either way i can sell them and make what i spent, its not like i dropped 500 bux...
 
Where'd you get them for 125?

Also, do the ANTs have the fucked up lines too? I hope my bindings aren't messed up...
