JP vs. Julian vs. ARV

Hi

I am looking for a new park ski for this season, but I'm having a hard time finding skis over 185. I'm 190, and I would like a ski between 185 and 195.

I'm looking for a soft and very flexi ski, for butters and stuff.

Up till last week I thougt I would be going with the Scott Punisher 193, but then I heard it was fairly stiff.

Then the other day I saw the ARV and the JP vs. Julian were in the lenghs 185 and 188, which both would fit perfectly. And after a little reading here on Newschoolers, I found out that they are both very soft. They should also be very light.

I like the lesser site cut on the JP vs. Julian. And the width of 103 underfoot.

But have any of you tried these skies out in the park?

And do you guys have any other skis that I might should considder instead.

I am going to Whistler this season, and I'm going to demo both before I buy. But I would like to hear your opinions and thoughts.

idk i would say that you should go for the JPv JU cause im only 170 and i have 185 ARVs and they are really soft, idk if they would be stable enought for you to ride, you could butter the shit out of em but thats about it

the edges on the jp's are about half as thick as the edges on the arv's, so if you plan on sliding rails at all, don't get jp's.

i say 185 arv is a great choice, you could probably even get away with something a little smaller if you're just using it for park.

My ARVs were WAY better park skis than my JP Juliens. Jps rip shit up, but park is not their forte. ARV's are amazingly versatile, if they were a bit stiffer they would be so money.
