JP Auclair Signed Alpine Initiatives Armada JJ 175

Sup NS, have these sweet skis I got in 175 and wished I could've got in 185 but didn't. They're super limited skis that JP Auclair signed himself and only 60 were made. The top sheet was also hand drawn by JP. Anyways I was wondering if someone might have the 185's and would want to trade for my 175's. I would love to mount and ski these sooo bad but they're a too short for me and in the light of recent events and the passing of two awesome inspirational skiers I really don't know if I should mount and ski them. They have been just sitting as beautiful piece art in my room that bring back good but sad memories. They really don't have a good home to be on display since I have a really small room. If I'm able to get the 185s I might ski them but I don't think i should mount the 175s if someone else could enjoy them more than i can. I would like to see if I can trade them first but if I can't I might let these go to a better home. RIP SIP JP Auclair and Andreas Fransson you two and others are dearly missed. 737394.jpeg737392.jpeg737395.jpeg

who the hell is voting to not ski these?!?!?!?

Do you think JP would want those to just hang on a wall OR for someone to get out and have fun on them???

JP was a doer, not a wallflower.

Pay respect: ski, have fun, and get the Alpine Initiative brand some recognition. Those skis also double as conversation starters and their true beauty can only be realized on the mountain around other people!!!

I couldn't agree with you more but I would baby these skis and after a good use I would hang them up in pretty good condition. Then they could also be enjoyed as art. I definitely wouldn't ski them till the edges and base fell off. It just seems wrong to trash them or let them go to waste. That said I do I agree they should see some use for why these skis were purposely made. 100% of the proceeds from these skis went to Alpine Initiatives which greatly helped many people in mountain communities. I think JP would have love to see Alpine Initiatives recieve recognition and for people to spread the word about such a good cause. And I coudnt think of a better place than on the mountain and the lift.

totally agree with the comments above, but god damn, look at those graphics! skiing them or not, that shit is art and would look beautiful where ever or how ever they are used! Bump for a truly unique ski! RIP JP

Well said sir

OP already stated that the 175 is too short of a ski for him and that he needs 185's. My do not mount/ski them vote is based on him asking "should I". Don't mount a ski that is wrong for you, get it into the hands of someone who will only mount it once and ski it knowing that it's the right ski for them.

I completely agree. The poll was based on me getting the 185s and if I should mount them or not Or if the ski in general should be mounted and skied sorry to be unclear. I did state that I don't think I should mount them when they're to short for me and someone else could enjoy them more and it be the right ski for them.

Hey guys I have gotten quite a bit of offers wanted to trade normal 185 JJs that aren't the AL JJs or Alpine Initiatives Colab ones. I know its kinda near impossible but i really wanted the same skis i currently have just in a 185. I just put it out there in hope of somebody having them and being willing to trade. Anyways it doesn't look like anybody does so I like to just go ahead and sell them. I really don't know what to price these at but as far as the the trades go sorry guys I could really use the cash right now so i would have to say no. Ive gotten several offers for people wanting to buy them but just one person offering $500 shipped. I haven't said yes or no but pm any offers you have thanks guys!

I gave this a good amount of thought because it would be soo awesome but I'm too broke right now to be giving skis away maybe later.

Hey guys I had a bunch of pending offers and people wanting to buy them but no one would come through. Well, someone finally did and these skis have SOLD! For the people that can donate to the Auclair fund and or to Alpine Initiatives please do! Both are great causes and I will do my part, little as it may be for the moment hopefully more so when I'm not so broke. Thanks guys RIP SIP JP Auclair
