Hi. Does anyone know where to find a stream of Joystick’s Hot Lunch video from like 10 years ago? It’s my favorite video of all time but I haven’t been able to find it in years. Thanks!
 
seems like the freeskier magazine podcast potato quality version is the only one that exists cause that's the one I have on my hard drive too

anthony boronowski should've directed more ski movies, Hot Lunch was so revolutionary. I remember watching it and it was so different from any other thing I'd seen, like I had never seen footage of a side booter in a movie before this. Definitely defined the hesh era

Hot Lunch came along at just the perfect time to galvanize my love of skiing. It managed to bottle everything that a sunny afternoon on Blackcomb can be, which to my 14 year old self was absolutely the pinnacle. And it's so unique to have never been replicated. You're right it defined the hesh era. Along with other good edits from like Ian Wade and Nipwitz. For me anyway. But Hot Lunch was the One and it always has been.

Wow this movie really stands the test of time. And yeah, totally forgot about Ian Wade, that dude was always shredding on the One Life’s and super fun to watch

I think I ripped this to a DVD back in the day along with the Voleurz movies, will have to dig it out! Such good vibes in those videos
 
Man i fuckin loved that Joystick/Surface Skis/Causewell crew so much. Hot Lunch was sweet and always enjoyed watching that crew ski.
 
best ski movie ever. Kids, subscribe to the Freeskier podcast if it's still up and download all that shit. A straight archive
 
just bumping this thread- I tried to find Hot Lunch on youtube this morning for nostalgia purposes.

Great freaking ski movie.
