you're probably talking about carbon fiber or carbon composite poles.

No the joysticks aren't carbon fiber. They are a high grade (light and strong) aluminum pole. They will break eventualy, just like any other pole.

Pretty damn durable so far. Not even very many scratches. I haven't fallen on them, or anything, but I have no doubt that instead of breaking they would spring me back up to my feat and immediately propel me into a massive switch 9 nose mute. "Joystick" is Armenian for "ridiculous steeze".

Joystick is the shit, period. Ask good skiers who own them, and the opinions don't differ: They're light, durable, have good swing weight, and the grips don't suck. So stop bitching about the prices and ante up and buy them already.

nah. I got scott poles with a w/b logo part of the graphics, maybe some edition scott makes for rental shops, that are made of lightwheight and really strong aluminum, they are of a pimpin' electric blue, and cost me 5 bucks cdn by donation at the ski patrol.

Get poles on sale kiddos. I got some dynastar poles last summer for 10 bones, and theyre the best pole ive ever had. Theyre made by kerma, so they were originally real expensive. For any colorado kids, wait until SNIAGRAB... thats where i got mine.

joysticks are expensive as will be armada's, personally i think the armada idea is very good, but in the end you're spending to much on gear that is hardly essential to most skiiers, poles are poles, not there for looks ya know? just get something durable and somewhat inexpensive, ive actually seen more broken joysticks than most poles, and i use the scott evil secret, ive hardly scratched the pole, and i fall a ton and twist it weird....and it holds up, and i got them fo 30 bux....

Joysticks are selling at TMC for $80 Canadian right now +15% off. Which is like 50 bucks and change American dollars. So quit crying about the price. You won't find a better pole anywhere for that price. Not to mention they're the sickest things ever. You don't even know.

Scott evil secrets are better and cheaper....ive seen lots of broken joysticks, i know 4 or 5 kids that have the same pole i do...hardly even scratch them

The guys at jibij also ride with next year's skis and a quiver big enough to make a swimming pool of skis... I wonder if they tend to go for the best equipment? Stop hyping your own crappy poles, until you've skiied with a pair of joysticks, YOU HAVEN'T SKIIED AT ALL.

I stand by my review: Steeze immediately increased by factor of 10. No other pole can say this. I could hardly get down a blue run before I bought these, now I'm Tanner Hall.

i don't own joysticks, but i went into jibij once and held a pair, and i could do switch unnatty cork 5's after that.....in the pipe.....it's kinda like in the matrix when neo learns kung fu.
