Approximatly 100$can for poles. No thank you. It's a shame cuz I needed poles and those were my first choice.

 
yeah I have a feeling joystick is going to do pretty shitty...100cad for poles and plus I thought they were supposed to be this sick creative design??? All it is is a checkboard...a 3 year old could have designed these poles.

I dunno I'm all about supporting the 'newschool/freeski' movement but I'm not about ruining myself for poles. I work hard to pay my stuff and 100 bucks is too expensive for me and I'm sure for a lot of kids too. My 2 cents.

Yeah, there def too expensie. I only say that because there not offering any special system/material or anything, its just a regular pole with good graphics.

 
i like them, but i was expecting something more creative than a checkerboard pattern. i would not pay that much for something i could do with two dollar poles from a thrift store, some tape, and some spray paint.

but i have to say, that hoodie is beautiful. 55usd is stretching it, though.

I love how people well shell out hundreds of dollars for Siver crap with no waterproofing just because it has a logo on it, but when something like this comes along which is by all accounts a quality product from a company that's made up solely of riders... they bitch about the price? ...What?

I mean, I realize poles aren't the most important part of your setup, but like that guy above said... rather give them a hundred bucks than pay Salo or Rossi, or even Goode.

would you rather buy poles for the same price that Say 'Rossignal' on it. And are plain black. Shit, that has to be the most creative Pole yet (plus is white wich is totally sick) and everyone has to go diss it. The cheapest pole I've seen is $30 and prolly have the quality.

it seems like this stage of life for a lot of people around our age is like when you are playing a video game and you beat the Final Boss, only to find out that was just a decoy Final Boss and the real Final Boss is about 50x harder. and on top of that, you used all your special tricks to beat the Decoy, and you are also low on life. and you have a crappy third party controller.
 
first off i would never spend 60 bucks for poles from ANY company newschool specific i'll spend maybe 10 bucks or pick up the old rental poles i find in parking lots. props for trying something new but like someone said checker-board? i could do that with masking tape and spray paint for christ sake. also i think its lame that they have more shirts and hoodies to sell than over priced ski poles! and if your gonna launch a new company have something that looks better (cuz looks are all that matter with poles) than whatever the fuck they are selling. and i felt bad that anthony sounded pissed that people were already saying his comapny was bullshit before the site launched but guess what bro they were RIGHT! this actually pisses me off I don't see how this is supporting the industry at all. people say support those that support you well no one seems to be supporting me the poor college kid who loves to ski. so i'm not supporting some poles that cost more than i will spend in a month on FOOD!

im sorry, i break poles far too often to pay $60US for them. if they were graphite, maybe. They are heavier, but they dont't break. I just can't afford paying that much money for something that for all intents and purposes is the same as any other pole.

it'd be nice to support the industry obviously, but they just seem too much in this instance.

I think people need to stop jumping on the fucking attack and let a company sort of develop before you judge it. As far as the new pole goes I think the checkerboard design is sick, maybe should have had more than one design though. I think I'm gonna wait this one out and see what truly sick shit Anthony and company can put out before I search for 60 dollars.

the scott series 4 freestyle poles are 85$ and are made from the same material (7075 aluminum) so comparitively it's a good price...quit bitching if you don't like it don't say anything

i spent that much on my Rossignol Poles, maybe a little less. and theyre strong poles, the type of aluminum that they use is the strongest type they can get. its the same stuff that Scott uses, and their poles are awesome, strong and not too heavy. i thought the graphics were cool, since i just bought poles, i wont be gettin em anytime soon, but after i break the ones i'm using now, i'll seriously look into getting joystick

The ski industry is big and gay as a whole. I meant what have you contributed to further our beloved pastime of newschool skiing. I can sure has hell say with confidence that Anthony's done lots.

As for the price. Do you think he intentionally inflates it? I would wager almost anything that he made them as cheap as possible. Pulling this shit off cheap is a little tougher if you're not a multi-national conglomerate.
