JOVB- X-Games Big Air Finals Coverage

respect Jon, bought a lot to the sport.

but his most recent wining seems

to lack foundations; the top 5 from big air created a showpiece of new found skill and intensity

how can you blame a jump when the top 5 nailed it; throwing new tricks and tricks never been thrown before in a comp

was he the only one that pulled out voluntarily of big air? whilst the others progressed the sport?...

in his latest blog he talks about doing 'jumps the 27yr old way' bla

bla. so boring the way he talks about age the whole time; boring to

watch and listen to

JOSS and JOI are the only thing making him credible; otherwise he seems

like a moaner and watching his egotistical and self obsessed

blog is boring and predictable (for me anyway)

it must frustrate other pro's having to listen to his contrived and self weighted opinion on jumps and comps and the way the sport is going

and why does he think ppl give a shit about some jumps in Limone; if he wants respect he should mix it in the same comps as all the other pro's on a level playing field

will Limone be another oscar and olivia love in? probably...

looking forward to JOSS

B-Dog all the way

If you watched his explanation, he said that he didn't feel safe hitting the jump, and that the other competitors seemed to have no problem with it...He said that he felt uncomfortable because he didn't have enough practice so far this season hitting a variety of jumps, due to racing, and he blamed himself.

And you said "whilst" in your post, which makes you seem like a pretentious douchebag.

Yeah exactly. Sitting out and watching that has to give you either the "Well, glad I don't do big air and have to compete with that crap" (Tanner), or "Fuck, I better step my game up and learn some new ish" (Jon). Good luck to the man... along with Tanner he played a big role in creating a sport wherein all that happened last night COULD happen and he's taken things to a new level in the past so no reason to think he can't do that again. But right now, dude must be thinking "FML. What do I do against THAT."

Seriously, Jossi's landings on those doubles look like Mik D's US Open sw1080... you know what I'm talking about.

thats how its said in euro-land...they also call fries, chips; and chips, crisps. its a complicated world

happy dayz, session 1242 , teddy bear crisis....shut the fuck up and stop making yourself sound like a complete idiot!

Nevermind being a competitive NorAm GS racer potentially reaching World Cup/Olympics level in the next few years while simultaneously having multiple double flip/corks in his trick bag.

awful lot of shit talking about the dude who made last night possible. dude has pioneered the way big SAFE jumps are built, brought doubles to the mainstream, not to mention at the same time being able to do well racing, and even can ride big mountain.

all in all you just sound like a bitter jealous prick

jon is a little bitch now but who cares, hes old as fuckk especially for a person to be learning new tricks.
go watch 1242 it will change your mind about him, he was my favorite skiier in that movie

Tanner doesnt need to land a double 1620 hes not a gymnast. Im still personally debating the question to myself whether skiing took a big step last night, or if x-games competion took a big step, because i hope it was only the x-gmaes. Seriously watch olympic arials in a couple weeks and tj's double will look familiar.

tj's double will not be similar at all.
go watch the xgames with people that have no idea about skiing and see there reaction, i was just watching it with some snowboarder who had no idea about skiing and skiier big air blew his mind, he watch snowboarder big air and tonight and thought skiing was on a whole nother level

you gyus need to stop bitching about jon he s one of the most talented freeskier ever.

and just because you started to ski 2 years ago doesn't mean you know shit.

this guy helped build our sport, he s had the sickest segments since propaganda, and was the most consistent athlete in competition, he podiumed every x Games he entered.

stop bitching.

maybe you guys are stupid but if you are smart and you have a bad feeling on a jump you dont jump.

Jossi should have taken 3rd for sure, he had the most ridiculously stomped landings ever.. Not to mention he kid of set the whole thing off with his dub 14. Jossi slayed that comp, but no worries because he is gonna take gold tonight in the pipe.

worddddddddd. Jossi def deserved a podium spot imo. OOOOOZed style on some of the biggest/most technical tricks out there.
