I was just browsing the atomic site and on Jossi's profile he says "my goals are to become the Ryan Scheckler of skiing." I think he's achieved that and really proved himself as one of the best this year. So i just wanted to give jossi props and see if anyone else agrees that he is the ryan schekler of skiing?
 
As far as talent goes, yeah, I think he's surpassed that of Sheckler. However, I'm pretty sure Jossi Wells isn't a whiny little bitch.

moreover it should be Sheckler wanting to be the Wells of skiing, Jossi is unbelievable for his age. He's up there with CR and Candide when they were that age. Not to mention he has younger brothers who can slay just as good as him. Mad props to him and the rest of his Kiwi family
 
word, I have a ton of respect for jossi. he looks like he's just out there having fun and rippin it up at the same time. sheckler seems like the kind of kid who would always be like hey, I'm better than you and whine a lot.
 
yeah sheckler is a bitch. he definitely is good a skating, but he doesnt have to be such a dick about it. my friend was at woodward this year and she said that this 12 year old had a t shirt that he wrote "sheckler" on the back, making fun of ryan's tattoo, and he flipped his shit when he saw it and snapped this kids board right in half. which is so sweet to pick on 12 year olds and all. jossi is much to classy to do this and is a better athelete in his sport anyway
 
ryan sheckler is a drama bitch. and he has his name tattooed on his back, you cant get much gayer than that. jossi is way cooler than him.
 
Exactly. Jossi seems like such a chill kid, and hey, he's best friends with Colby..what does that tell you..haha. Colby's the shit. Jossi's the shit. Sheckler IS shit.

He's probably one of the nicest kids you would ever meet too..never bitching or whining about anything, just out there to have a great time doing what he loves, cheering on his friends, whilst throwing down a storm himself.
 
I would think that he means he wants to be the one of the most recognized skiers in the world, and he want s to make alot of money because sheckler is loaded.
 
I doubt it's the money for Jossi. It's probably more of the image. Sheckler is an instantly recognisable name in the skate world and Jossi wants the same with skiing.
 
^i see. that makes sense. my reaction was because i skate, have mad props for jossi, and dont give a shit about ryan scheckler (nasty skater no doubt, amazing tolerance for pain) but there are so many skaters i think of whos style & image speak to me befor i think of scheckler.
 
He could easily be like sheckler but sheckler started ruling the scene when he was about 12,and jossi is now 17 and he just started ruling it.It's too bad that pettit's haven't started doing a comps while being younger.If they have started it back than,now they would be tony hawk,ryan sheckler,travis pastrana,tanner hall and shaun white i one.
 
i think jossi was either joking or he doesnt fully understand the skateboarding world....Sheckler is considered a huge fag to most skaters and he whines like a bitch. The only people who like sheckler are 9-12 year old kids who think writing skater with a 8(sk8er) is really cool

(they probably like barney too )... on the other hand Jossi rips everything and is super cool and i think he just wants to be well known and an established pro newschool skier.

what jossi meant by that is that when sheckler first blew up at 14, people were stunned to see such a young person killin' it on a skateboard. And for Jossi, he wants to be that for skiing, and pretty much has become it.
 
Disagree. As much as i hate to say it, Jossi still isn't quite there. Sure, Shecklers a bitch,and yea Jossi would be the closest thing to Sheckler in skiing, and he is definitely the next big thing, but he still hasnt done as much as Sheckler. Sheckler won X games gold at 13. Jossi got silver at 17. They both rule, but Sheckler has been more succesful by a long shot.

 
I love watching Jossi and Colby ski, they always seem like they're having fun, and Colby's seems like such a funny person and Jossi seems just really cool
 
Its Nyjah Huston who Jossi should be comparing himself to. Nyjah kills every aspect of skating and Jossi with skiing.
 
If Jossi isn't gonna dominate, one of his brothers will. Beau, who's like 12, was competing at the NAO. What!?!?!?!?!?!

ya, i heard beau landed his 1st 12 at NAO... AGED 12!!! are you fucking kidding me?? 12. at 12.

jossi just needs to get more solid grabs in his pipe skiing and he will go from "next big thing" to "best comp skier on the planet" in a rediculously short time.
