Jossi got semi-shafted

Now first off don't get me wrong, tom and alexis both put down sick sick runs. Toms run was sooooo smooth. But I think too many people have overlooked Jossi's - which consisted of a lip 2, 4 on 4 out, sw 9, semi sketchy disaster 4 on, sick switch right 10 GRABBED, and a ridiculous sw double cork 10 with a nose mute. Ridiculous. I think this shoulda gotten first, over tom's run. No hate on tom though!

dont get me wrong, im a huge jossi fan but...

that last bang by tom..... jesus's 2nd coming.

Yeah, thats true.

I really think that he only got lower cause the sketchy landing on the 3rd rail. When you compare that to a completely clean run like toms. That little thing probably cost him that.

No, I respectfully disagree. Tom's run was picture perfect flawless and filled with style. Jossi should not have won, the right man won that comp, however I agree that Jossi did get shafted, I think he should have won 2nd, although it was such a close comp that it's hard to say, I think that slip up on the disaster 4 cost him silver.

Im not saying he won cause of that but, that made his last hit which is arguably the trick that is gonna stay in judges mind the most, stick out more. It was so cleanly landed, flawless.

the judges seemed very particular about hitting every feature. Tom got docked his first run for just missing the dub kink box. I think Jossi just barely tapping it was what set them apart both sick runs though

ya he pretty much missed the 450 disaster and the lip 270 was a little bit sketch (didnt get completely over it). there was nothing wrong with toms run. if jossi had nailed the rails a bit more he wouldve won.

yeah when every run is so good, very little things wind up making a huge difference, not saying judging is perfect, just when the competition is that tight, it's easy to have a small error really stand out

Yea if jossi stuck the 450 clean and the lip 2 up the top would defiantly of been a silver or maybe gold for him. The standard of skiing was so high for the comp and the judges defiantly had to take note of every little mistake. Judging was good imo and Wallisch's run was perfectttt!

i stood next to him when he was talkin to his family/friends
and it is oakleyit matched his frogskins and his crowbars, so dope

jossi's rails were just kinda mediocre in my opinion, which didn't help complete the run with the badassery on the jumps below. Tom's run was crisp as hell, although the grab department was lackin on the sw right 10, but what the fuck ever - it was a filthy run.

though they didnt seem to care whether you hit rails or boxes, cause tom hit the box options on the down and dub kink. sammy could have been scored higher too, lip 4 onto the dfd rail, so sick.

yeah there was a 20 point difference between toms first and 2nd runs, the only real difference was that aired down kink.

back to whether jossi got screwed or not, the top 5 could have been swapped around in any order and i wouldnt have complained much. Jossi seemed stoked too, nearly a perfect run in the end. It was just sick to watch that comp in HD on a saturday afternoon.

Yeah, it was so close. The only thing I didnt like about Tom's run was the very weak grab on his unnat switch 10. Other than that his run was perfect. I do like how the judges seem to be giving rails/boxes a lot more weight in total score than in past years.
