Joss joins Armada?

thats surprising..would have thought atomic would have picked him up out of anybody. Seems like a weird fit for armada but that's dope nonetheless

I would've definitely guessed that Atomic would've picked him up too but Armada doesn't surprise me either. He's one of the best skiers out there right now and he's pretty stylish IMO.
 
So they've added Sammy, Tj Schiller (again) and Todd Ligare plus the possibilities of Joss and Johnny Collinson all within a year?

Could just be looking for a new sponsor and riding Armada's in the mean time. I believe Tanner Rainville did this a couple years ago before he signed with Volkl.

Im so pumped on Armada's build up of there big mountain/freeride guys...can't wait to see what type of skis they make in the next couple of years.

It would be cool to know how come they're suddenly expanding the team in such a big way. I mean some of the new names (Sammy & joss obviously being the main ones) don't come cheap and they haven't dropped any big names recently. So I'd be interested to know if armadas revenue stream is increasing (which would be dope as that suggests more free skiing gear is being bought) or whether its something else

Aha your probably right armadas just a front for tanner and Henriks massive weed enterprise which is how they afford these new athletes...
 
They've become too powerful and have a monopoly on all the steeze. An anti trust suit is becoming necessary to restore balance to the force
 
good news to hear imo ,really hope he can make the shift to a rider owned company with a stacked team. hope his contract dries up with Fisher , so he can become another assassin of the already huge line up of amazing skiers on the armada team.

Tanner, JP's Estate, Chris OC, et al own the company outright. It's not like Rossi or Salomon where they have to pay dividends and are responsible to their shareholders for distributing profits back. This gives them WAY more flexibility as far as how to spend what they earn. Judging by their successful expansion into all-mountain non-park skis (invictus) I imagine they're doing pretty well right now and investing in the future. They make a great product, I just wish they were still in Costa Mesa. I got to meet Tanner, his brother, mom, and dad at the Education of Style premiere.
 
It's my understanding that Fischer is refocusing off of freeskiing and gave him a relatively weak contract offer this year, far too weak for an Olympic champ. I haven't heard he's actually on the Armada team, just that he's not skiing Fischers because they lowballed him.

When APO pulled out of freeskiing, Sammy C was ripping on some Armadas before he was signed so this may be the case with Joss
 
Armada seems to be the go to brand for top pros between/off contract. They hooked up Shea Flynn too when he wanted to go unsponsored.

I had no idea Jimmy Chin was on the Armada team, or does he just shoot for them? Regardless, he's officially my favourite Armada team member.

Also, glad to hear TJ is back with them. It'd be nice to see more from him again. He's still has one of my favourite film segments of all time (x=10).
