Id say you made the right choice Jon, but it really points out huge flaws in the whole national team concept. I can think of a few riders besides henrik who maybe deserved to be in there more than a couple people, at least in my mind. Hard to say if perhaps they turned the offer down, but back on the henrik v wester topic its just a shame that someone who put together such a fantastic JOSS video in the previous year was not able to compete this year just because the team format had a national focus. Wallisch + Harlaut team anyone? That would have been something else. Anyways, given the situation I say you made a good choice and im sure we are all excited for your event Jon~

yes i completly agree with this. but team Harlaut and Wallisch would be the SICKEST team put together. they both have arguably the best styles in skiing and they could make a real funny and dope video.
 
I agree...screw the national teams, kick Dumont out and put Harlaut and Wallisch on the same team. Their styles would be eye candy together, and probably the sickest edit ever made. Jacob is a good choice for Jon, synchronized opposite spinning dub corks would be very sick to watch.
 
Yeah, Jon is probably scared cuz Henrik might just whip out a gat and spray the fuckin room if he gets mad.
And plus, Jon's jackets go down to like his bellybutton. Henrik's jackets go down to..oh let's say....his shins haha. The contrast would be unbearable
 
also im pretty sure i saw more than a 360 on the JO! jump from henrik in his JOSS edit last year so i dont know what jon is talking about...
 
I propose two possibilities:

1) Jon knows more about the respective skills of his fellow swedish skiers Henrik and Jacob than you do.

2) It's Jon's comp. It will be the best comp of the year. Every comp he has ever run has been not just a total success but a mind-blowing showcase of the best athletes and year on year he does more to progress the sport than almost anyone else

In light of the above, I think we can safely say that Jon reserves the right to pick who the fuck he wants on his team. Pipe down. If Henrik has got the minerals, which I suspect he does, rest assured he will have the opportunity to display them at JOI.

Personally I like Jon's decision to pick Jacob. I'm sure Henrik will get his chance to showcase his steeze at JOI. It'll look sick to have two people with similar style on a team like Jon and Jacob. If Wallish and Harlaut got on a team (which would also be sick) it would be an afterbang-fest (which is dope don't get me wrong). Should be a sick comp though

Normally the qual are closed, and just naming the tricks you have would not work, but if you do a Kang over Pyramid you deserve some special treatment...;-)
