JOSS 2012?

But yeah Please bring back JOSS. JOI is kinda lame. at leaste this yeah they didnt fuck up the dates and make it the same time as TWSSF.
 
and dub post but.... i'm actually stoked to see how joi turns out. i feel most riders rarely hit a manicured jump in a non-film setting. should be interesting to see how things progress from a comp stand point
 
In the event that you do not know what the difference is: JOSS is a two week long video contest where Jon provides hotels, parties, 5 features for the teams to hit and transport (last time a helicopter from the airport). JOI is just a two day event where Jon provides one feature, the most badass jump ever, hotels, transport and a huge party. Basically the event is super big and to host it takes a lot of planning and work on his behalf and at the moment he doesn't feel he has the time to put it together with all his racing etc.

I wish they Were having joss again this year but its JOI again. JOI is sick and all and will completely show the pricks at x games how to build a proper big air kicker but they day the joss edits all dropped was better than christmas morning.
 
Aside from the financial aspect (which is covered by sponsors), I can imagine the drama/stress of last time left a bitter taste in his mouth about wanting to do the event again.
 
simon was pissed that team canada's edit(basically an episode of chuglife) beat team america's edit. so he released the team america's edit wayyyyy before jon had scheduled to release the edits (one/day from last place to first). jon was not too pleased by simons child like behavior and basically thats it?
 
i thought it was suposed to come back bigger and better?, i think i read it in an NS article last year
