Josh Dueck was a sick badass from Kimberly and he was coaching the freeride team at Silver Star and had broken his arm really badly earlier in the year and was recovering from it and he was allowed to jump for the first time 2 days ago and his first jump he ended up going to big and he did a lawn dart and went probably the biggest I have ever seen anyone go and landed on his chest and face and compressed one of his vertabra and right now he is in vancouver trying to regain the use of his legs but the doctors were saying he wouldnt walk again, but miracle's do happen so everyone go out there and ride for Josh since he was so sick and needs some support, thanks.

I talked to Josh last Saturday night as we drove through Van. He was in super positive spirits and he says his doctors are amazed at the speed of his recovery. He'll likely be in Van for another 3-4 months working on the physio. He's very grateful for all the support from friends, family, and all the strangers that help fuel his stoke and urge him on to the speedy recovery that we all know will come about. He was talking about sit-skiing, so it won't be long before we see him on the hill again. Send it for Josh.

 
yea Dueck is the shit. The worst things happen to the best people. i know everyone at silver star and all over who know Josh are skiing and praying hard for Josh.

you should see him now! dueck is unbelievable, his spirit is always positive, hes rippin in a sit ski and even racing competitively. He also hit the airsite in his ski! your the man josh!
 
This was TWO years ago, and unfortunately he is paralyzed but it sounds like he has great spirits and is now kicking ass on a sit ski.
