good for john symms. i'm stoked on his riding, and DNA is relatively sick. so good for him.

how bout you guys stop ripping on a good company? have you ever used DNA stuff? who cares if its descente, it looks good, it works even better, and they put a lot back into the industry. i've been rockin DNA stuff for 3 years now and its still as waterproof as the day i bought it.
 
DNA is a good company? It looks good? DNA clothes are ill designed and ill fitting (if you're not Japanese). They only have a good team because Descente is filthy rich and has been forever. The people who work there are a bunch of HERBS who have no idea what is going on in the industry and don't really care. Freelowda is on point here. DNA sucks, has sucked, and always will suck unless they get someone new to design their clothes. How have they put a lot back into the industry? They sponsor NASTAR for fucks sake. It's a goober company run by a bunch of goobers.

I agree there stuff is pinner sized and thin around the ankle cuffs but thats about it everything else about the company is sick. They also have big scrilla too which is good for the industry like sponsoring movies such as SH6 which you had a seggie in and sponsorin huge events
 
You chill out, Margetts. But you're completely right, why would I rip on a company that I ride for? I wouldn't. Perhaps the more appropriate question is why would I ride for a company that makes the shittiest clothes and has NO REDEEMING QUALITIES WHATSOEVER. I wouldn't. As I've always hated their clothes and everything else about the company, I no longer ski for them. I don't have anything against their athletes, yourself included, and I honestly feel your pain, bro. Personally, I'll wearing some legit clothes that will actually fit me instead of representing a company which has never done shit except for helping Berman out and making some good skiers look worse than they should ever have to on the hill.

orage > dna. thats all. dna has a few good pieces, but all in all they've made the same outerwear since they started. orage on the other hand, has been ahead of the game for a few years now, and is blowing up as far as their team is concerned. they have no parent company pumping big NASTARR bucks into their budget. just a ton of quality and style unmatched by any other company.

siver is dope too... also way better than dna.

I just think it's weird having you bashing on them after been repping them out a lot in the past years when they signed you. If you didnt liked the clothessince the beginning, maybe you should not have talked about tehm at all in the past, it would ahve been more coherent.

Still, I get your poitn about it and i can understand your haitng, it just feels weird but then again I dont know how things ended between ou an DNA
 
FACT: Lame Downey had the bright idea to wear Basketball Jersey's over all of his DNA jackets - even at Comps, and then lie to TM about doing so. Why wouldn't DNA drop a guy like this!
 
I think that Orage really dropped the ball on this one.

Symms is the shit, but the people at orage are to ignorent to realize it.

Congrats to DNA for pickin symms up. the kid works harder than anybody i have ever skied with. Him and Tanner are two of the hardest working skiers. Period.

hell he is in how many movies this year.... War, 11th hour, sh6, tbc, up1.2, i think thats it. and they are all hot seggys.

i believe he wore the jerseys to cover up DNA's shitty-looking outerwear. WHY even create such a sick team if they dont have ANY input with the stuff they wear? something is not right.
 
why you gotta be bashin dna? the quality and look speaks for itself...someone must've pissed you off there because everyone i speak to can't say enough good about their clothes
 
FACT: You're lying right now. Why would I lie to Trey... I told him I needed bright, big clothes for filming. he gives me a something that the guys running gates on the NASTAR circuit would be rocking: a racing jacket with leather stripes on it. Your extra extra medium clothes (i'm assuming you work for DNA) made my 6 1/2 foot frame look like a scarecrow. Do you guys expect your athletes to get shots in films when all you send them is dark and brown colored pants and jackets that don't fit? I wore basketball jerseys from a non-competitive brand just so that I could get shots, and they didn't cover any logos or anything. I only did this for the second 1/2 of the season, but if you watch Shanghai Six, you'll notice that every shot I got in the backcountry was wearing a jersey. I don't even like wearing jerseys, it's just that all the shots in which I wasn't wearing one ended up being unusable because the clothes were so dark that you couldn't even see me.

Trey is a great guy, don't get me wrong, it's just that he worked for a large company that never gave a flying fuck about me. DNA fucked me over. I'm switching several sponsors this year but you don't see me unprofessionally bashing the other companies I used to ski for. I realize that this is an immature and extremely unprofessional thing to do, but to be honest, I really don't care. If this was just about me not getting the right clothes then I wouldn't feel the need to bash this company on a public forum. As it's really about a lot more than that, Schmiddy, I think I will shit on DNA every chance I get. And don't ever call me "Lame Downey" again, especially if you work for Descente, buddy.
 
On another note, Jon Symms pushes it hard as hell and holds it down just like everybody on the DNA team. Cruton, Redd, Marion etc...

I love all these cats. Sorry to blow up your thread, Simmers.
 
way to speak your mind liam. if you havent got a clothing sponsor yet talk to me about a great swedish hookup with dope ass baggy clothing and people that treat you like gold. and whoever is trash talking you is a joke to the ski industry hiding behind a screen name
