Jon Reedy not a pro skier?

In the credits of high five on the directors commentary, berman introduces jon reedy as a former pro skier. I haven't read much about him on here or anywhere else, so I'm wondering what's up with him.

i cant take him[liam downey] seriously cuz his name reminds me of that downy bear from back when i was a kid -d loc

I don't deny there are bad things in the US right now, hell, 51% of the country to be exact. But god damnit, our country being fat is NOT a problem. I do't give a shit how fat people are. hell, fat kids are harder to kidnap, that means our country is safer.

It's no joke. Jon's living in Vancouver and in the "computer" industry now. What exactly it is that he does is shrouded in mystery, but it's internet based, and he's making mad cash.

^ yup, i used to talk to him all the time, the skiing i guess wasent working out, so him and his friend got a jobn somethign to do with computers, i dont know what, but yea he makes a lot i hear now.

I live in a place far far away, where on occasion the telly tubbies will come to play....and that's when Ma gets out the shotgun. Damn critters climb in our gutter system all the time.

Haha no...I definitely wasn't selling any products on ebay and I didn't quit because anything was going poorly in skiing. I was making enough money to live perfectly well and got to hang out with the coolest people in the world...which was all I needed. I just had an oppourtunity to do something that was a bit more lucrative...and in a sense a bit more long term.

arent pros allowed to sell their stuff? cause it is part of their salary and people are allowed to use their salery how they want

reedy was just quicker to realize a very important point about freeskiing: it isnt a long term career and it pays like dogshit. We should applaud him for being smart enough to make that kind of choice, because alot of pros think differently: they think that being a pro makes them world famous and rich... wrong. And i would condier jon a pro or "former pro" because he was sick and held down some sick sponsors while doing it. How many skiers rep 555 Soul??

and to whoever asked, do you REALLY think he would just STOP skiing for good, just because he didnt get paid to do it anymore??

ugggh i must have really misphrased myself. i was just asking if he decided to quit skiing (in general, recreationally) completely now that he's moved on to other things or if he still skis in his own time.
