Apparently Jon Olsson has quit Oakley and will ride for the swedish brand 'Lindeberg' next year! Did anyone hear about this?

Yeah, they are a real company. However, their ski stuff is not what I would call conducive to our type of riding. I cannot see Jon in tight pants or a very Euro, non baggy outfit. It would look very odd.

 
yeah but i dont think he would ride with them if he couldnt get hes hands on theyre design.. or they special manufacture baggy shit for him.

like peak performance does/did for Henke Windstedt.

Yeah, but I used to work for J.Lindeberg and I am just saying that nothing in the past is close to something we would wear. And the creator is no the type to create a baggy line of clothes. So the rumor simply seems unlikely. It would make more sense if they said Peak or something.

 
yeah but what i ment where that im sure if olsson joines up with JL he would want some sort of that deal.

I've heard similar things - mostly that Jon left Oakley (outerwear at least) but I haven't really heard where he's going.

it's all very exciting.
 
He left outerwear, yes - but I dont think they're keep him on oakley goggles after such a move...

It is true that JLindeberg is a fashion brand, but I'm pretty sure he's gonna design his own line of clothing.

it seems like this stage of life for a lot of people around our age is like when you are playing a video game and you beat the Final Boss, only to find out that was just a decoy Final Boss and the real Final Boss is about 50x harder. and on top of that, you used all your special tricks to beat the Decoy, and you are also low on life. and you have a crappy third party controller.

i really dont care about oakley anyways.. about 50 people at my school got oakleys this year everyone is just being a bunch of trend whores... stupid bitches.. i got my A frames 3 years ago and i felt like throwing them out luckily i have wisdoms

yeah id prob leave oakley after last years clothing too....not that that has anything to do with it but its probably about money like everything. Id go to the highest bidder too

 
i think oakley is almost becoming the point at which somebody becomes the equivalent of a sellout in the ski world. Their stuff is soooo expensive for being sweatshop made. And its not all that great. Instead of paying 400 for a decent military knockoff jacket with nice features, i spent 70 for the real thing at a surplus store. And it has better features than oakley clothes that cost at least 4 times as much

hahahahaha, have you checked out the clothes that that company sells??? they're great. i definately do not see jon going to that company, it doesn't even look like it has any winter stuff. besides maybe a leather jacket and a turtle neck

like any other rumor, i'll take it into account, but i won't believe it until something offical from either company comes out. kind of weird that the year after 1242, riders quit oakley (julien, now possibly jon. next person i could see dropping oakley would be JP, cause he's just with them for goggles)

yea i belive its true, JLindeberg is going to make wintersport clothes but they dont have any yet, besides, jon has been seen with big JLindeberg bags filled with clothes

jon is like god in sweden, he is soo popular so i think it makes sense that some designer fasion company would sponser him, now people buy what he wears and they probably pay him lots of $$ plus too many skiers are on oakley outerwear so its a good thing
