almost all backcountry shots, one rail, two pipe hits and some comp footage. it really was a disapointment. not saying jon sucks i just think that pbp didn't get good stuff of him or didn't use it well. and all of his sickest stuff like the huge bc switch 9 and us open switch 10 and a couple others of his shots were used in the trailers so there were no huge rediculously awesome suprises. certainly not a very good closing part...but besides that x is sick, dumont should have been last.

the song was so-so, but the actual skiing was disgusting. what do you want him to do? switch 1800 blunts? sheesh

quiet you fools! it is my opinion, i mean how many switch fives can you do and in 1242 he was grabing the nose and now he was like halfway on the ski. i'm just saying im used to see jon do amayzing breaking edge stuff, like propaganda was rediculous, happy dayz his style was amayzing to and he was so rad, 1242 he brought out the nose and a lot of other redicullous stuff, but this year it just wasn't what i was expecting, of course its freaking amayzing but not as good as his other parts...so quit calling me names or i will cry!

I realized its your opinion but did you not see the switch cork 5 true nose? Or how about the switch rodeo 7 nose? What about the fact that everything he does is perfect. The reason why you might not see him doing anythign different is because he already has down like evry trick in the book. Obviously there is a lack of rails, but that is the only flaw I can think of.

I thought it was fuckin sick. I agree with what that other guy said, everyones standards are way too high. You should appreciate the shit he is throwin down, cos it is amazing.

i was let down by it too. it wasn't a very well built segment - and i'm not talking just about his skiing. jon is a fucking amazing skier and everything he does is always good, but johnny d spent no time on putting jons segment together, theres nothing impressive about the way its edited, the song was nothing new, just another afi song. i dunno, i thought it was a rather lame and uneventful way of ending a very very good ski movie. jons segments should always be among the best in the film...its just the way it should be.

I liked his segment a lot, I liked the AFI song and I thought the skiing was just so impressive. To fully take in what Jon does, I feel you have to realize that he is probably the hardest working pro there is, hiking tons more than anybody (Boyd Easley, Freeze Magazine) and that he is a perfectionist. The skiing was top notch, I mean that switch 9 he did that was in the trailer, yeah...huuuge. Maybe you shouldn't watch the trailer so much, then you wouldn't know what to expect.

i hated the song, but i haven't liked any new AFI for a while now... the edit.. yeahh it was kinda lame and dull and normal, but overall the part was pretty good. the edits were simple and weren't very tech, but overall the skiing was pretty good.

Personally, why I feel people have had problems with X, is because of how hyped up the movie was. When you hear about the movie like crazy, and how spectacular it will be... you wait for that, and when it's as good or even just a little bit better than a normal movie.. you expected something that smashed the hell outta every other ski movie you've seen, not something that sorta.. fit in with the group.

well he did have the best song in the movie. andddd hes been doing to the same shit in the bc for years now so not alot is new. but the dude up there is right, we raise are expectations way to fuckin high
