im really glad he won with a flat 5, finally starting to see people apreciate style over technicality. Sick.

Ya it's exactly like how some motocrossers constantly won contests with a backflip, sick trick but it gets old quick.

dumont got robbed in my opinion....

and the way they judged the tricks was Mike d chose which set of jumps to be judged. Like he would say Simons first jump and Jon's second jump, then those to would be the two compared...

Im just really tired of the Kangaroo, its not even cool anymore

i agree entirely. the kang flip is awesome, but i'd like to see more variety. i personally don't think they should be allowed to do the same tricks more than once, forcing them to change it up and prove who is really the winner all-around.

i know hating on the internet isn't cool anymore, but the more i get to know jon olson, the bigger d-bag i think he is. i'm sorry to everyone that likes to suck his dick.

Soooo true man!!! That's the best thing I heard since a long time. One kangouroo flip the get in final it's ok but not another one to win it. It's just not logical!!! Now, Jon only need to pull a great kang. flip with a great landing to win a contest.

I understand how people are getting sick of seeing this kangaroo flip or just double flips in general but the fact of the matter is that this is what our sport has come to. Its kind of rediculous if you think about it. It seems like its almost areials now. I have the ut-most respect for jon and all of the other riders who are constintaly pushing the limits. They are the ones who are molding what skiing will become. I just hope it doesnt become aerials. Its kind of weird to see a single trick dominate so many comp's. But there really isnt anyone else who can do this trick nearly as clean as Jon. (and jacob). Jon you are a excellent rider who is pushing the limits more and more every day. I love watching your video blog its a dope way to get personal insight into your hecktic life style. I admire your jump building and the effort that you put into making/ helping design them. much respect!
