Jon Olsson wins Clash of Nations

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA. henrik does a dub 9 safety and ns eats it up. jon does a switch dub 12 safety, and gets hate.

before anyone says this, im not hating on henrik, im hating on newschoolers for their hypocrisy.

Only 2 kids hated, everyone else was positive. I'm stoked for Jon, it's so cool how he can race, organise JOI and still throw down in big air when he wants to.

i liked it, it was clean. dubs with mutes are dead to me.

heheh the podium looked kinda funny cause he's a lot older than everyone else

He was ALWAYS gettin' third. Then he started racing which he is a beast at btw.

Yes you can hate on his style, but what it comes down to is

What trick do you think should of won? All the other tricks that were thrown had sloppy landings and some of them ate shit. Doubles will help you place well. Face it.

First few were horrendous. Finals had cleaner landings like you said. Jon's was sicker. Switch doubles with safetys look better than mute grabbed double corks.

Damn Ben, you're crazy sensitive to Jon hate. Like one kid said something negative, and you're indicting all of NS, haha. Chill out bro...and, for the record, Henrik DOES have much better style than Jon, and I'm not at all talking about clothing or whatever.

Before you attack me, I like Jon and have a ton of respect for him as a skier and a business man.

its not really the jon hate. im just sick of ns and their few idols while everyone else is considered whack. skiing is still just absurdly narrow minded.

One of the cleanest sw dubs I've seen with two grabs. I don't know what Polarpeak is talking about.

Sick that he's still competing while training for the olympics. Has to be a world first (for a skier to win a freeski comp while training for the olympics for racing).

competitions aren't about style though, have you not come to realize that? jon did a switch dub grabbing safety to japan. that's technicality. technicality wins over style every day of the week.

no that was a sw dub safety grab, he did no grab japan at all during that trick, or atleast i didn't see it... Last time i checked mute grabs were harder then safety grabs, at least thats the first grab i learned how to do. No hate on Jon, one of my favorite skiers, but that double was ugly and did not deserve to win.
