Freeskiing has always been about free expression. If some people like risks and challenges and find it cool to to triples, why should they be told off by some amateurs on NS? That's ridiculous.
It's all about whether things like triples become necessary for the skier in order to be respected or to be called a real "freeskier". If that's not the case, triples are perfectly fine.
Also, freeskiing ≠ steeze. A hucked triple doesn't have to be less free spirited than a steezy double. Maybe less pleasant to watch, but that's
1) in the eye of the beholder
2) usually a trend that fades off after a couple of years. In the 80s, they thought that spandex wearing aerial skiers were the coolest persons on earth. And I can see why.
