i was informed today that the Jon Olsson pros are not good on rails because of their thin-ness?

is this true, and if anyone uses them on rails/boxes, can you tell me what they're like?

TH@NKS

Jon olson rides them Duhh and hes good on rails he wouldnt build a ski that would suck on rails

there good

Jon doesn't like rails that much... He's a jumper, and his skis are made for jumping. If you look at his vlog, he's not amazing on rails... but he is Jon Olsson.

If you have skillz, it shouldn't matter much.

dude that video blog on the home page is funny, jon is the shit and isnt sponsered by oakley, he just really likes them. hahaha

he hits rails alot in that vlog but he lands properly almost flat each time therefore minimizing damage to his rails, alot of ppl land on ther edges and kill them like that

It all depends weather u like a stiff/hard ski or a smooth/light ski. If u like stiff its not good or rails. If u like light skies u will be fine.

umm yea, i saw him riding park city the past week. he can deffinitly hold his own on rails. after all, he is a slopestyle rider.
