nice. i have talked about this, but didn't want to post our footage without permission. glad someone else finally posted some of jon's clips. i was there during the two day shoot and jon was going like 30 feet farther than tanner. look how slow and unforced his spins are. so nice. shame that tanner had to end the session early by wrecking himself. ostness had powderbird lined up for arial shots and everything.
The 180 is amazing.
Also Jon's 900 is MUCH smoother/better looking than Tanner's. If you watch Tanner he is hucking the spin a bit and only grabs through about one rotation then is pulling hard to get around, and he sketches the landing a bit, not stomped for sure. Not to take away from it because any switch 900 is amazing, but Jon's is a lot better.
Did Jon skid out the 180 or 900?

I'm SICK on the whole highlightning and pittying Tanner buisness. Everytime I see TBC I can't understand why 5 minutes of the movie is Tanner talking about his crash and his season. Sure it's a hard thing do take but still he's not the first skier that have missed parts of his season because of a crash. Lars Veens crash for example ruined his whole future as a pro skier.
Anyway Jons switch misty 9 and switch 1 was some of the sickest airs EVER. IMO a lot nicer than tanners 9. I don't care if he didn't stick it perfectely it SHOULD have been in TBC. If it is true that it was Jon who decided not to have it in it so that tanners 9 would stand out more, it was really superkind of him. I seriously doubt that Tanner would have done the same thing for Jon....
