How did I forget HH. Yes, HH is very very good in terms of quality, and JL stuff is right next to it in terms of durability and such... so far anyways.
 
wow.....you really didn't read my post eh. Look up where i live on google earth. Kapuskasing Ontario Canada. A place where people ski in - 40 to -60 C. Im pumped on oakley because they don't just give you a little track jacket to keep you warm, they insulate their coats and pants. So when i go skiing, I DON'T FREEEEZE. In -40 you don't give a fuck about about Waterproofing, because water freezes at 0. Ive owned siver, orage, helly hansen, north face.....and the best has been oakley FOR EVERYTHING. Your retarded.

candide oozes style....... end of story but each to there own, true style isnt trying its just doing what you naturaly do and it looking sick most skiers try way too hard to have good style candide, jon ,henrick and mikeal just ski naturaly and they all have amazing style in my opinion
 
Its sweet that no one has even bothered to notice that a few people have hit it on the head with OxBow. I'm willing to bet they are right, loaded euro company that makes some hideous shit, but probably will come out with the next shit that everyone wants if they stack thier team right.

 
was JL in the ski business (or atleast known in the ski business) before they had jon? if jon goes to any other euro designer company whether it's gucci or not they're just trying to do the same thing that JL was trying to do, open themselves up to a new market...

what the fuck? of course i base a GOOD deal of my decision making on looks. i dont want my jacket to look like total shit, but at least i can say it has 30k waterproofing instead of oakley's 10k, which works fine.

my oakley puffy pants (green, 1st gen) are the least waterproof pants i have ever owned. luckily they are so thick it takes 4 hours for the water to make its way through

My Oakley Lab Pants leaked and soaked through within my first year of buying them. Numerous applications of Nic-Wax only gave me a day or so of adequate waterproofing. So far, I'm enjoying my new choice in gear.
 
my anorak is the least waterproof thing , but it all depends what the rating of it is (rocket fuel vs Road fuel)
