i seriously doubt he was poking fun at park edits or heli-skiing. heli-skiing is a huge part of the sport and i have faith that such an influential athlete like Jon recognizes that. he just has shit tons of money, his brand is plastered all over that heli so i'm sure it's his, and does what he wants. pros go out and make park edits all the time, Jon is just capturing a different part of the sport.
 
so what the fuck does that mean? we shun racing because it doesn't have tall tees, Saga, or Wu-Tang-Clan? c'mon, that's silly. as "newschoolers" we are supposed to be open-minded, correct? in hating on racing that's not so open minded.
 
you need to be more open minded about reasons to shun racing, though it seems like you have a lock on generalizing park skiers.
 
i don't mean to be close-minded, i apologize. It just seems that the kids who tend to be close-minded and hate on anything that isn't gang-steez tend to be those who religiously listen to Wu-Tang whilst donning 5xl Tall-t's and XL Saga.
 
skiing in general, bro. Newschool was also trying to get away from moguls, not racing. Moguls had already split off.
 
Moguls are like a hangover. They are the shitty aftermath of a good time (a pow day). Racing though is a bad dream of NBA mixed with skiing. I'm drunk though so don't quote me, please.

and i love carving, that past couple years ive been a park rat and lost my all the edge underfoot which is impossible to carve in, but i just picked up some arv's looking forward to tear up some corduroy

on a side note..... Leave that shit on a race site somewhere. This is freeskiing and that would have been cooler if you didnt film it.

 
It's not like Olsson posted it on NS... don't be daft.

It's good to know you worry about what's cool or not, because that's totally the spirit of freeskiing and all.
