Jon olsson cheated at X?

It's my belief that Jon was cheated at this past winter X-games. If you review the runs you will see that Jon was the only competitor in the top 3 to go unnatural on more than one jump, also he did not flail or touch a hand down on any trick he did in his entire run, his rails were dope as well, the blindside switchup to tail press was sick as hell (i don't think the judges caught that one) and let's not even go into the battle of the cab 10's at the bottem, Jons was larger and tanner or charles, he held the grab longer and did not even flinch on the landing. tanner AND charles both put at least one hand down. and you are wrong...tanner hall did two unnatural spins....and another thing...each of them had one bad thing...jon fucked up on the box at the top...{he opsiously didnt mean to do the tail press becasue he was off balance}...charles fucked up the switch 270 disaster on the flat down...and tann er fucked up on the swicth right side 7....but i think jon had the best 10 for sure like u said however tanners run was better over all in my mind...ow well whats done is done

the zeitgeist of a tight finals? Wow that's embarrassing. Then again, snow sport media in general is embarrassing. Snow sport kids are embarassing. Someone upthread said they were glad Jon didn't win bcz it would exemplify homosexuality in skiing on the strengh of his suit.

I wouldn't even say my real name on a snow sport site, including this one.

I think they scored it correctly, Jon messed up a little bit at the box, and his spins weren't as impressive.

i actually think it should have been charles then jon then tanner charles was smoother then them i think and i loved his 10 tru tail but tanner didn't really do anything out of the norm and jon was def smooth so thats why i could never be a judge

I've been saying that since the day of... and he should've taken X pipe, too, his run there was fucking style, go take a look. Should've been a sweep, instead, 2 bronze.

 
^ur absolutly right, i mean jon did 2 back to back cork 7 nose graps one right side, then one left side, into a flawless switch 10, his 270 onto the rail was by far the smoothest of the 3, and he never turned around, he flowed through the intire corse

I thought the same thing when i watched it.

Though the year before I didn't think Tanners run beat Jon's either but the judges thought it did.

Thats exactlywhats wrong with how we judge ski comps!! Take a look his tricks based just on difficulty ranked as well or better than the others, yet because he has so much style and makes it look so easy instead of struggling through the air ppl like u say oo they werent as impressivE!! pipe was lame, they might as well have called it the make ur first hit really big contest, because i knew who was gonna win just when i saw their first hit, it was pretty dumb, they only did it because thats all that people dont know about skiing care about cuz they dont understand it and stuff

 
t should have won pipe...simon had 2 right wall straight airs, which is lame.

and charles won slope based on his grabs, and smooth landings. jon lost it on his initial sketch out on the box, and tanner slightly bobbled 2 or 3 landings.

1 jon is sick, no matter what palce he gets. I can't remember the last time got X-Games gold in anything. He always podiums, but he never comes away with the win.

jon pipe run was smooth but he had got to update it and pump it up a few feet to get the score in the judges eyes

Tanner nollie lipslide, 450 on 270 off, spun both ways sickly, and his cab 10 although sketched on the landing was sicker. Slopestyle is rails and jumps together and tanner had jon for sure on the rails, and was barley a step behind on the jumps. Gangier was sick, but his style other than the bottom cab 10 and his rail hits were way behind that of tanners, and a step behind jons.

the best way to figure it out is to watch it hit by hit side by side.

its funny, friend of mine that is a boarder went to Winter X and he was so impressed with Jon's run. He said there was no doubt by anyone there that Jon should have won, same with pipe as well last year. At the pipe last year, you coulnd't tell on camera but Jon was 100 times more smooth than anyone and his amplitude was right up there with everyone else.

Everyone just takes Jon Olson's style for granted. He always skis flawlessly and has very technical tricks and grabs. When another skier does a smooth switch 7 nose grab like Jon, it is in all the movies and its a huge deal. But Jon just does these tricks likes its not a big deal, so people are too accustomed to his smoothness and consistency, I think that's why he gets judged lower and never freakin wins

i think because hes so smooth and looks almost casual that the stupid judges think the shit hes doin is easy and not technical enough so they dont give him the scores he deserves

jon always seems to get cheated, people just think hes not trying cuz he makes everything look so easy, and it gives less of an overall impression, but when u see the same tricks hucked out, but with style still, it kinda looks more impressive...but its not

i think jon should have gotten 1st at X pipe too, he was the only person to have ZERO STRAIGHT AIRS. Thats hard to keep everything fllowong trick after trick on both walls.
