Jon olsson 2 double flips

got this from the expn site

EXPN:
Talk about the double. Olsson: Doubles are easier to make with a jump that has a lot of pop to it. I plan on throwing at least two doubles. If it works out, I think I should win. But it's hard knowing that I have tricks that I can't throw because the jumps are too small. I'm not totally happy with the way the jumps are, but I can't say I could get in the cat and do a better job with what they're working with here, so I can't complain.

truee. hes really gonna have an advantage cuz he can just tell them to build everything how he wants it soits easier to throw the tricks that he wants

not sure what you're looking for out of this post. but my thoughts are at least he's realistic about him not being about to make any better jumps. on his videoblog he was saying the jumps look good. so who knows what the media has twisted ya know?? X is always epic so they'll make the best of it

from what i can tell on his videoblog, jon has pretty much told the guys exactly how to build the slopestyle course.

seems strange to me

its not like he is the only one who can hit some certain type of jump and nobdy esle is gonna do good because the jumps are made for him

i think that riders shouldn't have the right to touch to the course so it would be fair for everyone

^ agreed. or atleast riders that are competing.

having a rider do it is sick.

but if hes going in the comp stuff will be set up to his advantage.

Any jump Jon builds will give everybody the smoothest jump possible, not just him. Other people are throwing doubles too so don't think that Jon is the only one.

yeh good point.

its def a step in the right direction tho. have smooth stuff that riders want.

(hopefully theyll put some more rails in)

To whoever thinks that Jon's input is giving him an unfair advantage, you're dumb. This years X games course looks like something I would actually want to ride for fun. Jon puts in a shit load of work to make the jumps safe and perfect for everyone, and while jumps with more pop do allow better doubles, its not like having two jumps with a little more boost will fuck everyone else over. The course is better for everyone due to Jon's commitment, and I really cannot wait to see what athletes unrestricted by shitty features will pull off this X games.

yea i think the jumps giving more pop will push everyone to do better which will make for a more intense competition

of course Jon designed the course. why are there only two boxes but then his jumpset: kangaroo - rodeo 5 - switch kangaroo - dj spin

Jon's invitational jumps were praised by everyone.

The sick Whistler jump in S.S.D's was called "Jon's Jump", in Freeskier i think, and it was awsome.

I think Jon's been in the game for long enough that he'll have a really good understanding of jumps and I think they will suit all the riders because of this.

If Jon wins Im not lookinf forward to all the hate because 'he had an unfair advantage' thats nonsense
